It’s The Little Things: Music

“Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.”
- Plato -

Ah, music. The language of the soul. And the most powerful, beneficial and greatest treasure in this world.

It transcends all boundaries, fuels creativity, celebrates occasions, affects mood, stirs emotions, invokes memories, builds new ones, tells a story, restores energy, eases stress, alleviates pain, brings people together and conveys messages. When words fail, there is always music.

I end this blogging week with an upbeat tune that my teen daughter introduced me to quite awhile back. Enjoy.

Thank goodness for music.

Have a beautiful weekend, everyone.

  2. It is so true what you said about music; it does have that way about it. It would be hard to imagine a world without it. I loved this song; so much energy in it; I can see myself getting it "stuck in my head" and enjoying humming along with it. It is a perfect way to end the week and begin the weekend :) Enjoy!
