Question Of The Day

What one word would you use to describe 2014?

This is a tough one, but considering all the day trips that were taken, all the cycling that was done, all the events that were attended, all the things that were seen, all the photographs that were snapped and all the places that were visited, I’d have to say that 2014 was:

ADVENTUROUS!

Definitely adventurous.

How about you?

    1. And you did an awesome job of caring for your hubby, Ron. You take great care of your Pops! And SD may just be the luckiest dog on this planet with you (and Ron) in her life! Sending you hugs!

  3. I'd have to pick "upheaval" for my 2014 word. But that's not a bad thing. My life needed a bit of rearranging.

    1. Sometimes upheaval is a good thing; even necessary. I'm glad it was for you, Debra!

  4. That's a great word for you, and I'd pick it for you as well.

For me ... progress. From where I started to the end, progress, baby. All the way.

Now back to bills. Then bakes. Writing a new oatmeal raisin cookie today. I never use dairy anyway it it, but I want to sneak in some coconut flour and see how it turns out.

    But first, bills, bills, bills.

PS: Yes, full-on winter here too. Only with lots of sunshine right now. LOVE IT.

    1. Progress is definitely your word! It's been an incredibly progressive 2014 over at your secret lab :)

    2. Progressive in terms of getting healed up too. When I started the
year the spine was so bad, I could do very little in one day.

    3. Absolutely. Progressive in more ways than one for you. And the healing progress is the best of all! Once that was good, everything else moved forward!

  7. At first I was going with "Lucky." But it's bigger than that: I am BLESSED! Starting with the love of a marvelous guy ~ I'll admit it, you, Kay, and I have a three way tie for best hubby in the world (Oh, and I'd have to include Ron and Jim)!!! ~ And after that I have had countless blessings throughout the year! Wishing you an even more adventurous year!

    1. And you can add Wonder Woman (a.k.a The Happy Whisk) to the list of lucky people with great partners. I'm sure there may be more here but they're not talking :)

      'Blessed' - Great word!
