Love Is In The Air

"The only thing we never get enough of is love; and the only thing we never give enough of is love."
- Henry Miller -

Wishing you all a day filled with love. And lots of sweets! You know what we're going to do today? Nothing. There is a great big snowstorm going on as I write this, so we're battening down the hatches and taking cover!

Happy Valentine's day, my friends! Have a beautiful day.

    3. Very funny stuff. There's this one old commercial where the dad is sipping hot
chocolate whilst the kids shovel snow. Pretty funny stuff.

Sunshine today. Think we're gonna hit Barnes.

    4. Enjoy! It's nice and sunny here, too. But terribly cold. Arctic cold. Horrible. I'm just about to curl up with the book I'm really enjoying. Have a great time at Barnes.

    1. No plans for us either. Just the thought of having to clear the snow off the car and then drive through the piles of it around town is tiring. If we feel super energetic and adventurous later this evening, maybe we'll head out to dinner. More likely than not we'll hide in here. Why mess with a good thing? :)

    2. Agreed.

Though no out to dinner for us, it gets too nutso on this day. It's like St Patrick's and New Years. We like the hideout. I'm gonna whip one more bake up.

Never got to that cabinet that hates me ....

  8. Good idea not to get out and do anything, especially if the weather is awful. Its going to be crowded maybe at restaurants. We went out last night and grabbed some steaks to cook tonight at home and then we are going to watch "Gone Girl" (can it get any more romantic than that, LOL :)

    Stay safe!!!

  12. I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! And that you stayed safe in that snow storm!
I like Henry Miller's quote very much, it's so true. We need to give more love than we want to receive to make this world a better place - and to receive as much love as we want :)

  15. Hello greetings and good wishes.

I hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day, Love is something which we all need. Love is something which will never become less when we give it. But most of the time we are miserly with love.

    Best wishes
