Crazy Busy

I've been tackling a mile long list of household tasks, which will go on for several weeks. Last Thursday and Friday I washed my entire kitchen. Then Monday I started painting. And yesterday I was painting. And guess what I’ll be doing today, tomorrow and the day after? Go ahead, take a wild guess.

This is how I feel at the end of each day:

How are you feeling these days?

  1. Hard work indeed, and the photo is adorable but i bet you can't bend you legs that way, good work girl!!! have a rest in betwen won't you, like a homemade Cappucino or some sweet to reward yourself, and take a self-photo and put it up with whatever treat you chose, you'll always look like a girl, to me, young young woman heart and soul and looks although that doesn't matter...

    1. I definitely take the time to rest, Lorraine, or else I'd collapse! The other day, the most amazing man in the world and I went for a nice long walk and I got myself a cappuccino at Tim Hortons. A small treat but so enjoyable. The fresh air alone did me wonders. And I usually soak in a hot bath after I'm done, which also does me wonders! There are things that need to get done and since I have the time to do them, I jump right in.

  2. It's not painting, it's flopping. At least that's what flopping now means in our household. My hubs flopping is my. 'Get painting'.

  4. I need to get some of your motivation 'cause I have tons of chores to do but they seem too overwhelming. What kind of work do you think that little doggie was doin' that made him so doggone tired?

  7. I'm so busy right now too! There's just something about the Spring that brings tasks to the forefront. Plus this weekend I have to do my effin' taxes. THAT'S always a fun time.

  8. It's awesome you're so on task but are you taking a tiny bit of time for you time too? I've tried to find a better balance where I need to do "lifes tasks" but also take a bit of play time too. I'm not quite there yet... YET (hopefully sometime)

  9. Guess what, hubby and I are going to paint our bedroom this coming weekend.
I am going to let him do most of it though ...

How do I feel, just peachy as I am heading to the park in a little bit!

Rest well Martha ... after working so hard but isn't it great to have our houses looking good!
    I love a clean house ...

    1. Nothing like a clean home, Margie. And a freshly painted room is always the best. I really don't mind painting; I could do it all day. But I cannot stand the prep work and clean up involved.

  10. But does it help you sleep better at night? Good exercise though with all the work you are doing :) I bet the painting will look nice too when it is done ;)

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at times these days. Enjoying the A/Z challenge, just not the mandatory overtime that snuck in during this time :)

    1. Betty, I've been sleeping like a baby! I don't think I've slept this well in ages. I'm sorry to hear about you feeling overwhelmed. I hope things ease up soon. I am enjoying your A/Z challenge.

  11. I'm kind of tired too, but not because I'm painting. Spring fever can make me feel tired, but in a good way. I'm loving the longer daylight, and am doing a lot of spring cleaning also. Busy, busy, busy. :).
