Happy Monday, my friends! I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Mine was very relaxing after a very busy week. So busy, in fact, that I didn’t step out once into the garden - despite the beautiful weather - until yesterday. For only the second time this spring. But it was Mother’s Day, so I treated myself to a stroll among the flower beds with my camera in hand. And discovered to my absolute delight *squee* that there are beautiful blooms everywhere. Like this one:

This is the lovely Helleborus 'Peppermint Ice'. |
Ah, the joys of spring.
Now how about some humour? Let’s do it!
Wishing you all a wonderful day and week!
That original weight cartoon is hilarious and certainly puts things in perspective! So glad to see the garden is blooming.
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it? We just can't get to that weight :)
Deletelove the shot of the helleborus, just gorgeous. Thank you for pointing out that I don't have to get down to my original weight!!
ReplyDeleteYup, no need to worry about getting down to your original weight. It's an unrealistic goal :)
DeleteOooh, the flower is beautiful! Love that cat defying gravity...and the "are you childish?" Thanks for the smile this morning!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! It's always nice to start the day off with a smile :)
Deleteoh my the flower is so outstanding, then you made me laugh my heart out, I love the way you start Mondays, Girl lol x

DeleteMy favorite, all of them. Maybe it's the fume from the paint but you found the best Martha!
Those paint fumes are making me nuttier than usual, so perhaps you're right :)
DeleteOh, that peppermint ice flower is just gorgeous! And of course I love the "when pigs fly" toon over on your sidebar!
ReplyDeleteThat sidebar cartoon is very fitting with what's been going on out there, you crazy westerners :)
Deletestunning flower! Thanks for the laughs today Martha.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed them, Christine!
DeleteThe flower is gorgeous, Martha! The chuckles so funny! How I wish I could relax like that gravity-defying cat! Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteHave a great one, Louise! It's nice that your snow is all gone now. Winter has no business being around this time of year!
DeleteThat first photo is a "must frame" - fabulous.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Good Martha. =)
And you, Robyn! I hope it's a good one for you.
DeleteBeautiful flower! Thanks for the laughs this morning!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteI can't believe that cat would find that comfortable
ReplyDeleteI know, right?
DeleteThe last one has some yuck factor which suits a Monday morning.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. I haven't tried it but I imagine it is very effective :)
DeleteSuch good laughs Martha
ReplyDeleteLoved the gorgeous flower
See you in a month ...I am on break
Be well and happy ..
Enjoy, Margie! We'll miss you :)
DeleteSuch a pretty flower!! LOL with the original weight one; I like that, I will never get down to that either :)
ReplyDeletebetty
It's an unrealistic goal, so why waste time on it :)
DeleteIsn't it great when you venture out into the garden and discover new things that weren't there yesterday?! Whjat a great colour this Hellebore has, Martha!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the cat toon! They are so silly!! And I miss them!
It is the best, Jim! The garden is surprising me every day now. Love it!
DeleteNow I have to go and pin all of these for myself! :-)
ReplyDeletePin away, girl, so others may laugh :)
DeleteHahaha I don't know which is more disgusting- to lick someone's face or to keep the unwanted conversation going :)))
ReplyDeleteTough choice!
DeleteHahaha, on the last one.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I've no doubt it's very effective :)
