Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, my friends. How was your weekend? Ours is still going on because it’s a holiday today in Canada, and a lot of people are enjoying an extra day off. It’s gorgeous outside and I’m planning to spend the day in the garden surrounded by sights like this:

I just love this time of year!

You know what else I love? Humour. So here’s some for you.

Wishing you all a beautiful day ahead.

  8. LOL! Especially the cursive one! Although I could out curse anyone if I wanted too. A darling former student came to me on the playground the year after she was in my class and whispered to me that a rumor was going around the playground that I had said a bad word to the kindie teacher during Kindie Buddies. She could tell from the look on my face that I was surprised and probably guilty. I thanked her and told her I very well may have said a bad word; that I wasn't proud of that; and that I would try never to do so again. I guess the flip side of that was that I didn't flinch when some students tried to work me over with swearing and cursing, and I didn't get bent out of shape if a student swore a word or two. (I worked in a tough school). Love the cartoon! Have a good one!

    1. Fun story, Louise! I bet you have a lot of them from your teaching years. You should share some on your blog. They'd make for very interesting reading. I went to a very tough school, so I certainly understand that!

  19. Hahaha, about the undies matching. I sometimes do this. I'll match my prep shirt (what I write/test bakes in), with my undies and my babushka (head scarf).
