A Single Photograph

"The health of the eye seems to demand a horizon. We are never tired, so long as we can see far enough."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson -

Do you ever stare off into the horizon and wonder what lies ahead? I prefer to live in the moment but once in awhile I dream about the future.

  7. I am currently dreaming and writing new formulas in my head, as I wait for my Breville Beauty to arrive. But other than that, I'm more of an in the moment, kinda gal.

  9. I like horizons and just plane skies. Yes, I do ponder the future but I don't become obsessed with what may happen.

  10. Excellent shot and good post. I think we all wonder what the future holds once in a while. It's good to have faith that the good Lord will see us through all our tomorrows.

    1. We certainly do wonder at times, but I always prefer to be focused in the present moment.

  11. Lovely photo ... I also think it good for the muscles of our eyes to gaze into the distance and then at something nearer.A bit like looking at the computer screen and then coming off it and making sure our eyes focus on another point uses the eye muscle. I'm no expert but did read about this and it does make sense!

    All the best Jan
