Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone. I hope the weekend was good to you. And I hope you got to enjoy whatever it is that makes you happy. For us, it's being outdoors, and we got out and about a few times. And during one of our outings we ran across this huddle of love.

‘Cause sometimes you need a group hug.

You know what else you need? To laugh. Which I’m going to help you do. So let’s get to that right now.

Have a beautiful day ahead!

  1. Those are hilarious! And I think those ducks ate more than just pizza rolls. Dang, look at that pile of poop!

    1. I know! You have to watch where you're walking when you're near these super poopers.

  3. Missing; "Duck Deodorant?"

Now I've discovered why there are so many holes in our bed sheets.

I had to walk ten feet... through the shag carpet to change the TV channel... "up hill, both ways_!" (ten feet_?)

  8. I always seem to land here on Monday... must be for my chuckle and chortle fix! Did I ever tell you that my cat Guy makes a chortling sound when he sits on my lap? It's not a purr, but some sort of happy sound.... I've read through your past posts too, I think you have enough for a fabulous book. Have a wonderful week!

  11. Huddle of love! Just wonderful, Martha! I'm still breathless from reading the story of your meeting the love of your life. I thought the first part was riveting, but the happy ending was so much better! I loved the crayon picture he sent you. That right there said a whole lot! Thank you for sharing your story, both the ugly and the beautiful. It is absolutely compelling and inspiring. I am very happy that you found each other. I don't know when I'll have an internet connection in the next few weeks, so I'm sending you an armful of hugs!

    1. Thanks, Louise! Would you like a few hugs, too? I've got plenty to share :)

I often marvel at how I went from one end of the spectrum to the next with these two relationships. No middle ground for this woman :)
