A Single Photograph

"The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence."
- Denis Waitley -

My younger daughter, Alex, on the day of her prom last week.

Today my younger daughter turns 18. How is this even possible since I see a five-year-old whenever I look at her? Time. It just zips right by. We should make each moment meaningful and memorable.

Have a beautiful weekend, everyone!

  11. Congratulations to your daughter on her new milestone. and congratulations to her mother for having an 18 year old daughter. As I sometimes say to my younger friends,"Too bad for having an eighteen year old! Try 43 and 45!" They're all well worth it.

  18. She is freaking adorable. Love her little nose ring! Just got one similar myself a few months back. It looks perfect on her. I've not seen a prom hairdo like hers before, but I really love it! Kind of sassy and different, while still being classy and fancy.

    2. My daughter usually does things that are a little different. Not too long ago she had her hair painted a bright red with a blonde streak across the front. I like that she's adventurous like that.
