B is for Beach
The sound of crashing waves, the feeling of wet sand between your toes, the scent of salty air, the reconnecting to earth as you walk along the shore...there’s no place I’d rather be than at the beach. It stirs my emotions, awakens my senses and speaks to my very soul.
It is breathtaking during the day even when it’s overcast.
And magical at night as the sun goes down.
But especially delightful when you share it with someone you love.
The beach dispels the stress of daily life and brings about a blissful state of calm.
Do you like the beach?

ReplyDeleteI don't blame you, Adam. I wish I could live right by one.

Best place to get rid of stress! It is indeed very calming.
DeleteWalking on the beach is the best. Sigh. My feet love it.
ReplyDeleteI know! Beach is the perfect place for feet :)
DeleteNothing like it, Martha, eh?
ReplyDeleteYou got it, Jim! Nothing like it.
DeleteAnd I see you have the most amazing man in the world on the beach so that makes it much better.
ReplyDeleteYou bet! His presence makes everything better :)
DeleteThe beach is a part of my soul. I grew up on the beach, but not the type you strip down to your swim suit. The kind where you have to throw on a sweater to block the wind. I love how it clears my mind
ReplyDeleteThe best place to do just that. I love being near the water. We don't have oceans here but we do have many lakes and rivers, and that certainly helps.
Deletenew blog now called : http://photographl.blogspot.ca/
ReplyDeleteI'm now following you!
DeleteI grew up right on the east coast. We were at the shore a lot but I wasn't big into being in the water. Though when I moved to the great northwest, I missed having the beach right there. Even though I didn't swim.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.
I like being in the water but only if it's warm. I have visited Maine, for example, and found the water to be bone-chilling cold. I didn't dip more than a toe in it! I shivered watching others swim in it. I don't know how they do it.
DeleteHow about The Polar Bear Club? Burrrr.
DeleteNo. Way. !!! ( ='o'= )
DeleteLooks like a very beautiful place to enjoy; thanks for letting us enjoy it with you through the photos!
ReplyDeleteIt was stunning. I wish I could spend more time near these beaches. It was amazing.
DeleteHow lovely! i can smell the beach, your pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Francie. I wish I could be there right now!
DeleteLOVE beaches! don't get to them often enough for the typical variety of reasons :(
ReplyDeleteSame. That's why I get super excited when I get to see one up close. I'm like a kid in a candy shop.
DeleteIn Florida, we are 5 minutes from a beach... do you hate me? hahaha
ReplyDeleteJust little bit. You're one of my favourite bloggers, so that certainly helps your case! LOL..
