A To Z Of Gratitude: F

F is for Family

I have a very close and very loving family. We look out for one another and have a great time when we get together.
My family has always been there for me whenever I've needed them, and their love, kindness and support has helped shape the person I am and the way I view the world. I am so grateful for all of them.

Have a wonderful day, everyone.

  2. Wonderful thing to be thankful about. And to think, how much you changed your
entire situation just by leaving the other one and finding Mr. Wonderful.

Mr. Wonderful is what Mamam (my gram), used to call Papam. Only image her
saying it in a very thick Hungarian accent.

    She cracked me up.

    1. I love it. And I could definitely imagine her accent. I grew up in a neighbourhood where people had come from all over Europe, including Hungary, so I heard every (thick) accent you can imagine!

  4. Hum I'm grateful for the past 20 years because... I haven't heard anything from my family! That's all I'm going to say about this...

    1. I'm sorry to hear that about your family, Richard. But sometimes it's necessary to do that if family is toxic.

  5. Family gives one a very strong base to live their life on. Family has different tentacles as in in laws, cousins , grandparents. and some who aren't related but are just like family.

    1. You said it best. It's not just relatives that are family. Sometimes other people, especially good friends, become like family.

  6. I have a great family as well and I am eternally grateful for them. My mom was the best mom ever. I have a great sister and brother and my step-dad is my hero. I was also given grandparents as well as aunts and uncles that are amazing.

    1. It's always been that way with my paternal side, too. I didn't really know my dad's family all that well. Hardly ever saw them.
