It's not easy taking a selfie while you eat ice cream. (This image was taken in Varadero, Cuba in April where we ate a lot of ice cream. Shamelessly.) |
Do you like ice cream? What are some of your favourite flavours?
Kawartha Dairy salted caramel truffle!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious!
DeleteYum! Yep, that is something to be thankful for, especially on a hot day! My favorite is chocolate chip.
ReplyDeletebetty
We are kindred spirits, Betty! Chocolate chip is a favourite of mine!
DeleteI love ice cream! Chocolate chip mint or in a pinch any flavor will do. Chocolate is usually it.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
It's especially great on hot and humid days!
DeleteWho isn't a fan of ice cream (well perhaps someone who's lactose intolerant). One of my favorite flavors is Breyers Heath Bar Vanilla. Um, yum !
ReplyDeleteSince the USA has re-establish diplomatic ties with Cuba, I expect the island will be seeing a resurge in their tourism. I'm looking forward to when Florida has reinstated their ferry services from Florida to Cuba. The island looks to be full of Caribbean charm and you appear to be having a wonderful time.
You will LOVE Cuba. The people are so warm and friendly, and there is so much to see and do. Not to mention the most beautiful beaches; white sand and turquoise water!
DeleteYou and your sweetie sure know how to live happily. Do they have gelato too there? You got me thinking about my favorite shop - a candy and gelato place - in Chico. Must buy some happiness there soon. It's been a whole week or so. Smiles.
ReplyDeleteYup, we've got gelato here, too. You can find it in just about every grocery store. I hope you go get that happiness!
DeleteMmmm..... mint chocolate chip......chocolate oreo.....spumoni......
ReplyDeleteAll sounds yummy!
DeleteI do love ice cream. Chapman's (Canadian!) is always a yummy choice
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever had Chapman's ice cream. I should check it out.
DeleteI like a nice Praline Caramel ice cream every once in awhile. And also get an occasional craving for Tiger Tiger (orange and black licorice mix).
ReplyDeleteMmmmm...both sound great!
DeleteI usually get uncreative and ask for strawberry
ReplyDeleteIf that's what you like, it's the best choice!
DeleteA good thing to be grateful for! Yum!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Francie!
DeleteTillamook has some very good options, butterscotch or huckleberry even a white chocolate raspberry, and of course, anything chocolate :)
ReplyDeleteSo many great choices! One of the great things about ice cream.
DeleteI love ice cream! I'll say no more.
ReplyDeleteNo need to explain! I get it :)
DeleteIce cream is ok I guess. I've never understood my husband and children's love of it.
ReplyDeleteI guess you're not a fan, Natalie. Not everyone likes ice cream.
DeleteAmen! This post gets my sincere thumbs-up of approval!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites is mint chip (what we call grasshopper ice cream).
"Grasshopper ice cream". I've never heard that before. That is a very interesting name for it!
DeleteYou two clowns are funny.
ReplyDeleteThe couple that plays together... :)
DeletePralines and Cream....you can;t beat it, ah so good I can an entire.....well let's forget about that yes you two so belong together it's lovely to see xx
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem with great tasting ice cream, Lorraine! Once you get started... :)
DeleteI love ice creams. Chocolate, rocky road (marshmallow & nuts), mango and cheese are my favorite flavors. By the way, in Taiwan they eat ice cream with coriander. In Russia I've seen people eating pistachio. And in China, I have tried mung bean ice cream. In Philippines we have chili ice cream like in Mecico. Have you tried any of those?
ReplyDeleteI haven't even heard of almost all of these! I wonder how they taste. Ice cream with pistachio can be found here but the others are unfamiliar. It's amazing what flavours different areas will create. Ice cream is quite popular.
