Happy Monday once again, everyone! They always seem to come back don't they? Each week you think you're done with Monday and WHAM here's another one. How was the weekend? And what are your plans for the upcoming week? Ours will include the job-a-day-plan, which I explained
here, so we can continue to move forward for the sale of our home. But we are remembering to get out a little bit and enjoy the nice weather because you know what they say..."all work and no play..." Speaking of which, who can tell me which movie (for those who've seen it) that popular proverb appears in?
Here's a big hint:
While you're figuring that out, I'll share some funny images that will hopefully get you chuckling. And maybe even chortling.
A beautiful day to all!
can one tragic thing happen without people think there is some big mystery behind it.
ReplyDeleteI am curious about cheezits now though
*puts on tinfoil hat* It's a conspiracy
Hehehe...those tinfoil hats are handy :)
DeleteThe movie is The Shining? LOL with the mom vision, it is true though we have eyes everywhere :)
ReplyDeletebetty
That mom vision sure comes in handy! :)
DeleteDid Laura Secord have a cow with her or didn't she? Newest theory says she did.
ReplyDeleteOne of those things left unanswered :)
Deleteoh Yes The Shinning I saw it and the funnies are hilarious my favourites are the 110 friends invited for pasta and the second is the lawyer...oh hilarious thanks for the chuckles Girl!
ReplyDeleteIt's my pleasure, girl. I'm glad you enjoyed! I used to make pasta like that. I'm much better at it now :)
DeleteThat is the first film of the infamous Stephen King's The Shining. The book is far better than either movie but then most book movies are that way. I'm a rabid King fan.
ReplyDeleteWe rarely make plans, there's always something going on here. With the start of school, there will be events all the time...especially football!
For sure. Books are more often than not better than the movie. And I hate when the movie changes the story completely as it does in some films!
DeleteI haven't seen that movie, Jack Nicholson scares me ever since 'one flew over the cuckoo's nest'. Thanks for the laughs today, happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteHe's a pretty wacky character!
DeleteAnother great collection of Monday funnies. Thanks for the laughs!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Linda!
DeleteA delightful post, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome :)
DeleteThese are great, Martha! And I hope your work projects go smoothly. :-)
ReplyDeleteOne job at a time, Birdie. So far so good :)
DeleteI liked the eyes in the back of your head cartoon. I used to use it in my classroom. I'd stare out the window and see reflections of somebody messing around and call their name. The kids really didn't know how this was done.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha...that is hilarious! What a great story. You should share that on your blog.
DeleteHappy Monday Funnies, Martha.
ReplyDeletePS: The Shining.
DeleteYuppers, that's the movie.
DeleteLove the eyes in the back of your head cartoon ...
ReplyDeleteAnd yes Mondays do come round too quickly - but then so do Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and I wish the weekend would slow down a little ....
All the best Jan
Indeed. If only the weekend stuck around a little longer. That would be great!
