I've been playing music and singing and dancing as I work on renovating our home. And how could I not when I'm doing it together with the most amazing man in the world?
"If I had my life to live over again... I'd find you sooner so I could love you longer." |
Those of you who followed the story of how we met know what a long and oftentimes painful journey it was to finally arrive at this happily ever after. And how not a day goes by that I don't wake up grateful for this kind and gentle and generous and patient and loving soul who I am fortunate enough to be sharing this life with. Grateful for our love story.
Have a beautiful day, everyone.
A lovely story, Martha! Best wishes for your continued happiness!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Francie! I hope we have many more years together.
DeleteLove is great to be grateful for; especially the love you and the most amazing man have!

Deleteoh you lovebirds! That house will go to a lucky owner!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure whoever moves in will enjoy it. It's in a perfect location and the neighbourhood is very quiet.
Delete"If I had my life to live over again... I'd find you sooner so I could love you longer." This is so beautifully said Martha, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had come up with it so I can take the credit, but I found it while surfing the internet. Still. It is so beautiful that I had to use it! Summarizes how I feel.
DeleteThis is so wonderful. I also read your story of how you met.
ReplyDeleteThings are going your way for sure!
It's nice being with someone you feel so connected with.
DeleteYou have to through tough times to realize how fortunate you are. If you'd asked what word would be for L I'm sure all of your followers would have guessed.
ReplyDeleteTough times do make us appreciate all the good things that come our way.
DeleteHi, Martha! I may have been traveling, but you have certainly been on my mind, what with your impending move and your daughter going off to university! You're managing to keep your sense of humor, in spite of all the decluttering, cleaning, and painting. Loved that quote about finding The One sooner so you could love him longer. That's exactly how I feel about the Ever-Patient, Terry! Take care ~ don't work too hard!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine going through this world without a sense of humour! It's certainly helped me get through some tough times. That is wonderful about the traveling. I hope my husband and I get to do some of that when he's retired!
DeleteHow nice to see some one appreciating some like you do. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Munir. Come back and visit!
DeleteIt feels tacky to say I love this but the world can always use a little more love, so LOVE it I shall! You inspire me to wrap myself in gratitude and bask in the lovely things I appreciate as well. Thank you :) And yay for your loving lovely lovey love!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hannah! You are cute :)

ReplyDeleteYou can't have sweet without the silly :)
DeleteI think about Tim and I think about you guys and really, how flippin' lucky we gals are to have the team that we do. It's nothing greater. Wishing you the best.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt about that! I count my lucky stars every day, especially considering what a shitty relationship I was in before. Night and day, I tell you. Night and day!
