You know, I was thinking there aren't any. I'd be too scared to know any answers. But then I read Adam's response. I'll take his second question for the win. That's a good one.
You set up a big challenge. First I don't want to look at what other commenters say. How badly will climate change harm our earth? What will happen because of overpopulation? When will everybody be happy?
Such excellent questions! And things I think about all the time. I imagine overpopulation is going to be a big problem some day, especially with food and water.
1. How can I invent and manufacture anti-gravity belts? Worn around the waist, they could have simple controls for going up, down, staying put, etc. They would be great for apple picking and roofing (we wouldn't need ladders, and people wouldn't have to worry about falling off roofs because the anti-gravity belt could keep them afloat). Older people wouldn't need walkers anymore because the belt could keep them from falling...etc. And in the process of making life better for so many people, I could also become a millionaire... (I know. I'm so unselfish and altruistic... ;) )
2. Who was responsible for JFK's assassination? There are so many conspiracy theories, I'd like to know the truth.
3. What is God's will and plan for my life, and how should I best follow it? I'd like a lot of wisdom! The Bible assures us that the Lord gives wisdom, so I guess I know whom to look to!
Anyway, fun idea, Martha! You asked some neat questions yourself.
HAHAHA! I love the way you ended no 1. And I think it's a great idea. You are so young and have the energy, not to mention the time, to work on this :)
Great questions, Bethany! You have quite a lot of wisdom for someone so young and I have no doubt that you will gather more and more as time goes on.
I think you've just about covered my burning questions!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat minds and all that...
Delete1. Where's my other sock?
ReplyDelete2. If I eat this, will it give me gas?
3. When will I win the lottery?
Not all of us are Big Picture Thinkers like you, Martha!
As I get older, the question "If I eat this, will it give me gas?" is actually becoming quite vital :)
Delete1. Why can't I lose weight?
ReplyDelete2. Why can't people be kind to each other?
3. Why is it so hard to get a good night of sleep sometimes?
betty
All good questions, Betty. I ask these quite often!
DeleteCure for all diseases

Matching the lotto numbers is something my husband and I would love happen. And we don't want much. Just enough to pay off our mortgage!

ReplyDeleteI like that one, too. A very good one :)
DeleteOh goodness ...
ReplyDeleteThere can be 'heavy' questions such as
Why can't people live in peace?
To something much, much lighter such as
Where did I put the remote for the TV?
Perhaps something in-between, may also be appropriate ...
All the best Jan
So many question, Jan. And fewer answers :)

ReplyDeleteHow many letters is there in an alphabetic soup?
Did the chicken really cross the road?

DeleteIs there life on other planets was my first thought.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have an answer for that!
Delete!. Why can't I make tea biscuits like my mother did?
ReplyDelete2. Is there really a parallel universe?
3. When is the human species going to take a giant step forward on its evolutionary path?
Great questions, Jim? I got a good laugh out of the tea biscuits. Makes me think of some great things my mom makes that I just can't seem to imitate!

3. How about the day after that?
Hahaha! I love your questions :)
DeleteWe put the flippin' heat on today.
