Today

Me...
The most amazing man in the world...

It's been that kind of week. And there's still another 10 days to go. Now excuse me while I peel myself off the floor to get some work done.

What kind of week have you had?

Have a wonderful day everyone! And a great weekend.

  4. It is hard work!!! The end result will be worth it and maybe you guys can treat yourself to a massage :) Like I've said before, do take a bit of time on the weekend to rest up and regroup.

I had a good week, our house is real close to closing escrow and now phase 2 on our plans; got to see a picture of son's fiancee's wedding dress, so its nice to know a wedding is happening (and soon)

  6. It seems I've been at work all week myself. Not enough time in the day

  7. Give yourselves a much needed break every now and then.

    1. We've been going for walks at night to have coffee. It is a very much appreciated break.

  8. Very busy here. I'm sitting from a short break after ripping apart the hallway where the washer and dryer are. There's must have been a sock convention back there, or free drink night, because I found bunches and bunches of socks.

    1. A sock convention...hahaha... That's where they've been hiding :)

    2. There was only one that I couldn't save. Poor bugger. Off to sock heaven. Where there are no doubt, more conventions and sillyness.

Hope your weekend was grand. Ours is coming to a close. I'm at the kitchen table with the tablet. Just popped two quick loads in the wash/dryer. It's nice to be a few steps ahead for tomorrow.

      :-)

    3. We had a really good weekend. Super busy on Saturday but the opposite yesterday. We took the day off and ran away from home all the way to Ottawa to visit our university gal. It was wonderful!

  11. I do sympathize ... but you have done so well.
Rest this evening and have a great weekend.

  12. One might not feel like moving because they face an unpleasant task, but movement is usually good. It feels good, and often leads to some surprisingly positive outcomes. Go for a walk.

  13. Same old, same old. We've had a few curves thrown this week like a water bill with zero usage but still they want $63.00.

    1. It's been pretty crazy around here. But it's worth the effort; it'll help with the sale of our home.

  15. Moving is one of the most highly challenging things to do....hang in there you two!

    1. It is, Jim, but it's worth it. We'll be in a much smaller place soon enough with less responsibilities!

MOVING ain't what it is all CRACKED UP to be!

    1. It certainly isn't. And the longer you've been in a place, the worse it is!

  17. Busy last week and now in mourning. Jackie Collins was a huge inspiration for me and a scene from one of her books inspired my first novel. So, so sad. I wanted to meet her and never got the chance, now I never will.

    1. I'm sorry about that. It's very sad about Jackie Collins. I was quite surprised at the news. I had no idea she was so ill.

    2. Thanks Martha.

No one knew except her three daughters and she only told Joan last week when she was in London. It seems to have shocked all of her fans and followers because no one had a clue. I think sudden deaths are so much more shocking because they're just that, sudden and unexpected.

    1. I hope you're better now, Lorraine. I'm looking forward to all these renovations coming to an end and our lives going back to normal. It is exhausting.
