A To Z Of Gratitude: O

“Let go of your attachment to being right, and suddenly your mind is more open. You're able to
benefit from the unique viewpoints of others, without being crippled by your own judgment.”
- Ralph Marston -

O is for Open-mindedness

The willingness to listen to, consider and appreciate various opinions or ways of thinking. Being receptive to ideas, experiences and concepts that are new or different from your own.

Open-mindedness is one of the most important and valuable personality traits in a world that is constantly changing. It helps us expand our horizons, accept others and have fewer prejudices. And it makes us more diverse and interesting.

I am so grateful for this admirable quality and for the people who exercise it.

    1. "Open yourself up to the world!" Love that. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

  8. You have another rather deep gratitude topic here. Yes open mindedness and the ability to make a judgement call.

  9. some people welcome change long before it comes, some do it when it's convenient, and others are apparently dragged kicking and screaming.
