A To Z Of Gratitude: P

"Photography, alone of the arts, seems perfected to serve the desire humans have for a moment – this very moment – to stay."
- Sam Abell -

P is for Photography

Everywhere I go...

...there is a moment...

...waiting to be captured...

....and frozen...

...forever.

The images I take are my interpretation of the world around me as I journey through this amazing thing we call life.

I am so grateful for photography.

    1. It just had to be photography. My favourite hobby. Another choice for 'p' would have been polar bears. I love polar. Popsicles, too. Oh, and popcorn. Definitely popcorn! And pumpkin. Pizza. Oh my gosh...pizza. Many wonderful choices for p. This is a good letter :)

  8. P for photography suits you extremely well. Just think if you were before digital technology and how limited your life would be.

    1. I'm so happy about all this digital technology. I used to take photographs with film but that was costly!

  11. Absolutely P for Photography! I think photography is bringing me more creative joy than anything! I knew it would be hard for you to say goodbye to your flower garden, and I also knew you'd tuck it in well for its winter sleep because it's your baby and you will want it to have a good start next spring! Maybe you can save a few clippings to take to your new place. My forebears were forever starting clippings in bottles of water; or collect some seeds and start them again in a new bed! I never go grocery shopping hungry. I stop at a Starbucks inside the store or outside. If I don't, food disaster for sure! Hugs, my friend!

    1. I'm with you on that, Louise. Photography has brought me so much joy I can barely contain myself! LOL... I love it. It's meditative for me. Relaxing. Uplifting. When I'm completely focused on an image I'm taking (or even thinking about taking and how to take it), I feel completely detached from the world, like I'm in my own little universe. Such a great feeling. And sometimes totally necessary!

  12. I dont go taking pictures around anymore. And most pictures in my phone got deleted by the end of the month....
But there is powerful art behind photography and i envy those who have time to do it properly :)

    1. We all have things that we enjoy. If photography is not your thing, I'm sure you enjoy other stuff.
