Hospice is such an amazing organization. You are an angel for volunteering. I ain't got nuthin' that even remotely compares.
No need to compare, girl! Just share something about the day ahead. It's all good.
You are a good person Martha. The rest of us talk, you do it.
I'm sure everyone contributes in their own way. This is just something that works for me.
That is a great thing to do! Today I will be looking at houses.Betty
Sounds like fun! We might be doing that this weekend.
That's wonderful. I just did an entire post on what I'm doing today, but to make it short, lots and lots of house projects.
Just saw your Wonder Woman post. That is a superhero kind of day :)
At least it was a start but I didn't get much done. However, I know what the end goal should be, so I'm working toward that. Right now I'm doing bills, bills, bills. Happy Weekend & Boogie Boogie.PS: Not a lot of men products either, shaving foam, razor, that sort of thing. Toss in a toothpaste, toothbrush, crapper paper and it's enough to get him a little shelf. Plus, the wallpaper has GOT TO GO.Back to bills.
So much YES for your volunteering. I hope you have a nice time, I can see you enriching someone's life and being enriched by that person... beautiful, basically have a wonderful day :)Practice empathy.
I like this type of volunteering. I thought I'd have a hard time with it, but I'm finding it very easy. Although the people I help are facing very difficult times, I like spending time with them.
my mom used to do that
That is great!
Today I will...do nothing.
I love days like that. And I really need a 'do nothing' day. Perhaps after the renos are done, I'll take an entire day to myself.
That is an amazing day.As it's Wednesday evening when I type this ... I'm going to write!Tomorrow I am going to see my dear dad - he is an amazing 90yr old!All the best Jan
Wow, 90! That is wonderful. Dads are so special. I wish mine was still here but at least I have some wonderful memories.
You reminded me that I have to finish Bill's biography
How long do you figure before it's done. Sounds like a very interesting project.
that sounds so much better than what I did today!
You should have shared your day! I would have liked to hear about it.
Yesterday I rested my elbow after raking three wheel barrow loads of chestnut burrs and two full Gator loads of walnuts. It was kinda volunteer work since I took the nuts deep into the woods to feed the wild animals.
That is wonderful, Gail! Yes, that definitely is volunteer work.
Today I will do my best to stay in the present moment and appreciate what I am doing.
That is a perfect day if you ask me!
