Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone. I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We stopped by a local tavern on Saturday night to watch a friend's band play, but other than that we had a pretty laid back couple of days. How about you? Did you do anything fun, special, interesting?

While you think about that, I'll get to the funny stuff...

Have a good one!

  3. My husband's corporate office is in Charleston and Bill Murray owns some sort of restaurant there. He'll be standing outside of it for one reason or another and my husband's co-worker will walk by and just say, "Good morning, Mr. Murray." One day Bill was standing out there, playing the guitar and singing. My husband's co-worker happened to walk up on it. I asked him if he tossed some dollar bills into his guitar case! He's just a down-to-earth guy who likes to have fun.

I love the last one the best and your empty trash, delete cookies.

    1. That happens to me with other blogs. Sometimes the posts show up the next day. Very weird. And also annoying!

  5. Love the precious pen! Some friends of ours made pens to give to their friends with the message: "Pen stolen from J & L (their names + address)." I thought it was pretty clever, though it was a bit incriminating for us recipients!

    1. We've had some visits but no bites yet. And we've found one home that we are interested in but we can't act on it until we sell ours. But either way, this time of year the market is slow. We're just going to have to be patient!

  10. Oh so true, but so funny about the helicopter parents. Love Bill Murray. He's a fixture in Charleston, SC and is really a down to earth regular guy.
