I don't have anything on mine
Just an empty space.
Glasses, a book or my tablet; a bottle of water :)Happy weekend!betty
Thanks, Betty. I hope your weekend is a good one.
Oh boy! Lip chap, earplugs, mouth guards, my thyroid medication, hair retaining implements, an old garlic jar filled with pens, hand lotion, a lamp, and a beautiful hexagonal fabric table cover, not really a tablecloth in my book, something else. I keep my books on the floor with my heating pad since there ain't much room up top for anything else than a phone or a water bottle!
That is quite a collection!
I'm trying to make my own novel but I feel so lazy :)Jexshop Giveaway' | follow me on GFC ~ new post on My Blog Styleccentric Fashion' | like my Page' | follow me on Bloglovin'

None on mine, maybe with time, ha.
Book and/or my phone for Kindle books, glasses and a Heineken bottle. Usually empty..lol
Sounds pretty minimalistic!
A statue of the Sleeping Goddess of Malta. She is said to bring good dreams.
This is the coolest thing. I will have to look this up.
An alarm clock, a lamp, a telephone, some body lotion...
Pretty standard stuff, Christine.
I don't have a nightstand. I keep one alarm clock on my headboard and a book in my headboard shelf. And I have a lamp, another alarm clock and 2 other clocks on my dresser...you might say I'm a bit obsessed with waking up on time.
Hahaha...I guess so, Bethany! You're probably a punctual person like me.
Brain Storms by Jon Palfreman It's a very good read. Lots of info on Parkinson's. Watch for a review coming your way soon.
I'll keep a lookout. Sounds interesting.
I have a chin hair that needs to be plucked. I really need to start carrying tweezers.
We're at that period in our lives, Birdie, where tweezers become a necessity :)
I have a lamp, usually a book or two, a small china jug filled with multi-coloured pens for writing in my journal, a phone, a box of Kleenex, and a little tray on which I toss my earrings when I take them off at the end of the night. (I am enjoying your blog, just discovered it a little while ago.) -Jenn
Hi Jenn! Thanks for stopping by and joining in. I hope to see you here again. I will check out your blog, too!
Right now my nightstand is empty and clean of everything. But we did just redo the bedroom and it's very clean and void of objects. I flippin' love it.
Don't you just love when stuff is clean and empty like that? It takes me quite sometime before adding anything when it looks that way. And sometimes I never do. There is nothing on the top of some furniture in our home. That's the minimalist in me.
I do love it, yes. My writing desk is without clutter and without Internet. But in my lab, I do have lots of tools that are used daily. But I maintain my stance of, use it or lose it.
Let me see.....the NY Times Crossword puzzle, my Sudoku book, a couple of The New Yorker mags, a Shambhala Sun mag, my nasal spray, a lamp, my night-time meds....hey, you asked!! lol
You are right, Jim. I did ask!
Just a coaster to hold a bottle of water in case I get choked up in the night! I read on a Kindle...and it's usually on my treadmill!
Oh, another treadmill girl! I do that, too. I often read a photography magazine while on it but mostly I watch TV.
A book, my glasses and a glass of water ... which is sometimes replaced in the morning by a nice cup of tea, which I occasionally drink in bed ...All the best Jan
PS I like the new look to your blog ...Jan
Sounds like you're a reader, Jan. And thanks about my blog! Just needed a little change.
As well as the reading spectacles, two or three books, glass of water and Kindle, there is always my dog's latest toy that I have been tossing while I read. When it's time to settle, the toy goes on the nightstand or else I can't sleep because he will be laying at the foot of the bed, staring at me all night, waiting for me to throw the ball! Border Collies are a tad bit neurotic!
HAHAHA! I had a good laugh with the comment about your dog. That is cute. And funny. Border Collies are my favourite! I considered getting one when I moved here. I changed my mind when I realized that I'd be the ONLY one caring for it. Somehow that didn't seem fair!
a bunch of new yorker issues waiting to be read.... and a bday card i like looking at when i first wake up >°•°<
You're like me; stuff waiting to be read!I like that bday card addition. It must be very special!
