Question Of The Day

I could think of a few but one of mine would definitely be:
"Don't sweat the small stuff."

Your turn.

    2. It's a quote from a song in the movie/stage musical "Cabaret". The next line is : "and I love a cabaret!"

    1. One of my favourite sayings! There comes a time when you have to let it go.

  6. "You have to lance the wound to drain the poison" came to me, I told the hubs and said "But that's sounds so bad and dramatic" and he said "Well, that's really how it is right now!"

He also brought up the question, "What your slogan is right now or what you want it to be?" and what I want my life slogan to be "Do yourself justice, be you and let your kindness flow, outward from within." Something like that :)

Needed this today, thank you Martha!

  8. For a while it was, "You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take." I still feel that way...but personally I like, "If you're too busy to be nice, you're too busy." I saw that last one on a church sign 15 years ago, so I'm not sure it counts as a slogan!

    1. It can certainly count as a slogan. You get to decide which one you want. Thanks for stopping by, Stephanie!

  9. Hi Martha,

My mistakes do not define me. What I learn from my mistakes, define me.

  12. Smile and the world smiles with you ...
It may not - but if you smile at someone - especially an elderly person, you may make there day a little happier.

    All the best Jan

    1. I couldn't agree with you more, Jan! And sometimes a smile is exactly what someone needs to better their day.

  13. Sans peur et sans regret (I stole this from a book somewhere a long time ago)
But now my motto is 'Do I care?'

    1. Without fear and without regret. That is pretty cool.

      So I guess you don't care :)

  14. There is an old pagan or Wiccan expression, "Do no harm." I've a little twist on it as my own personal slogan, "At no one's expense."
Artist Brian Andreas is the creator of my second life's slogan,"the really important stuff they never tell you. You have to imagine it on your own."
My third is a Paulo Coehlo quote, "You drown not by falling in the river but by staying submerged in it."
