Chuckles and Chortles

Happy new week, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Our weather has been very mild, so Saturday afternoon we headed downtown to mingle with the holiday shoppers and enjoy the outdoors. Here we are by the water where you don't see a single boat behind us. They're all hibernating and will be back in the spring.

I even got a chance to park my behind on Santa's chair. I kept a lookout for him because I wanted to ask for a tropical vacation for the most amazing man in the world and me. We've been reasonably good this year and I think we've earned one. But Santa never showed up. So no trip for us...

I guess we'll have to settle for some humour...

Have a great day!

  2. I'm very glad they fixed the tree light thing. If the new LED ones work like the light bulbs version, they should never go out.

  6. Don't just park uopur but in santa's chair. Be Santa Claus yourself! I like the one about the unionized lights. Many people have no idea how the old lights worked.

    1. You are right. I should be Santa Clause :)

Eventually no one will know about the old lights...or at least have first hand experience with them. I like the new ones better.

  14. LOL! Especially the lights! I have many memories of my father going through a string of lights on the tree trying to track down the burned out bulb. I think it would be wonderful for you to take another tropical vacation! If I were Santa, I'd bring it to you!

    1. Don't I wish, Louise! But not for awhile. This year it will be all about selling our home, buying another, moving, settling in...oof... I'm tired and we haven't even started yet...LOL... There won't be a vacation for some time.
