Happy Monday, my blogging friends. How is everyone? And what are you up to? Any plans for New Year's eve? We haven't decided yet, which is pretty typical of us. Last minute plans are quite common with the most amazing and me. It makes life a little more interesting.
So, shall we get to the funny stuff? Why not...
Have a great day!
LOL with the blocking folks in the 80's; lots of truth there :) We are having a quiet New Year's Eve here; can barely stay away til midnight these days :) Will make a nice meal and probably rent a movie :)

Sounds like a great evening. We may just go for dinner and then cozy up at home.
DeleteI actually remember using the old style phone (though it wasn't attached to the wall) when I was very little. I can't figure out if it was because we were poor or they just didn't want to get rid of it.
ReplyDeletealso my left eye is my lazy eye too. Eye doctor told my mom when I was little to wear the eyepatch thing. She was never the greatest when it came to looking out for my future. My childish self wanted the eye patch off and eventually I won. But years later I learned that I really lost.
DeleteI had an old style phone long after I didn't need it anymore. The main reason is that I just didn't get around to getting rid of it. Eventually I did.
DeleteIt's too bad about your lazy eye because it's a problem that can be resolved. But kids can be stubborn sometimes.
Love the call blocking lol, happy Monday Martha. We have no plans for New Year's Eve or Day.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you'll have a nice laid back evening. As I get older, I appreciate them more and more!
DeleteI always look forward to the Monday funnies. New Year's Eve is a time of quiet contemplation for me. The first date I had was New Year's Eve and it was a blind date!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, that sounds like fun! Did it turn out well?
DeleteHave a great day.
ReplyDeleteI hope it was a good one for you, Gail!
DeleteThese are great for a Monday post. Good stuff indeed. The phone blocking. You know, some kids don't even know what old phones look like. At Wegmans, they have a phone in one work area with a label that reads: TELEPHONE.
ReplyDeleteThey really don't. The younger the kids, the less chance they'll have seen an old phone. In real time, anyway.
DeleteAnd the pound button. I called to talk to someone and the recorded operator said to hit the pound sign. Then she added, "Also known as hashtag."
DeleteHAHAHA! Signs of the times :)
DeleteLove all this week's funnies!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Linda!
DeleteWe don't have plans for New Year's Eve yet, might try to get the Space Needle fireworks on our crappy free cable thingamajig. The hub likes to stay up til midnight whereas I could just go to bed (he was born at one minute past so every New Year's kiss is also a birthday kiss). Thanks for the funnies!
ReplyDeleteOne minute past! Was he born as the first New Year's baby that year?
DeleteOh Happy Whisk.. I laughed!
ReplyDeleteI have 3 dogs &2 cats. I totally relate to the Must get photo-!
Animals do silly stuff like that! You gotta love 'em for it :)
DeleteFunnY Getting your dent back! hahahaha
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine? That would be funny...
DeleteBlocking in the 80's!!! LOLOL
ReplyDeleteRemember that, Jim? Those were the days!
Delete:) Jaws the movie used to mesmerize me when I was younger. Now many people expected more and the oldies are rarely appreciated now (not enough CGI, not colourful enough, not tech savvy etc).
ReplyDeleteThe half house in the end is tres chic i think, hahahaha.
I saw Jaws again not too long ago and I still like it. I guess I don't really need all that hi-tech stuff. Or I'm nostalgic about the past :)
