Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone. I hope the weekend was good to you. Not much to share today as it's been a very quiet few days for us. Perhaps you have some news. Maybe something interesting is going on in your part of the world. If so, share away!

While you think about that, here's something to tickle the funny bone...

A great day to all!

  1. LOL with the furniture sign and the house one; I like the sign at some stores "unsupervised children will be given chocolate and a puppy to take home."

    Have a great day!

    1. The house one is so true! The only one that thinks of your home as valuable is the tax man! Or woman :)

    1. Thanks for the smiles! I love the sign from the furniture store--a nice way to say--please keep your children off the furniture! :-)

    2. It is a nice way to say it, Tina! Parents should supervise their kids when they are shopping, so signs like this aren't necessary.

  8. I am laughing so hard at the first one because my kids always ask how many people I'm going to talk to at the store and for how long.

  10. Thanks. Sometimes we need a very quiet weekend. I like the one about houses which shows that it's just a matter of opinion. Now My weekend was so quiet that I didn't hear my nice neighbor shoveling my driveway!

  11. dogs are too pathetic when it comes to people food. My dog will whimper around the ones eating who toss her pity food because she knows it's coming but can't wait for it. She knows who's who, she never does it to me. But she'll watch, just in case.

    1. I've never had a dog but I hear that about them all the time from people who do. Apparently, they'll eat just about anything!

  13. Loved all of these. Cracked up though on the first one. My son used to get sooo impatient when I ran into someone at the grocery store. And that was always because I worked in one of the local banks so I knew a lot of people. One time he asked me "Ma, is there anyone you DON'T know?" LOL

    1. You were a popular lady, Barb! I'm not surprised. You're so friendly, how could you not be?

  14. The furniture one. I cannot stand parents who allow their rabid little shit heads to jump on other people's furniture just because it's allowed at home. Ugh!!!!!

    1. I have to totally agree with you on this one. Parents SHOULD supervise their kids and teach them to respect!
