Very Important Cat Jobs

My cat, Mocha...

...and my cat, Nacho...

...both sleep the majority of the day away. So I've been scolding them lately about being lazy and expecting to be waited on hand and foot.

Well, let me tell you, they were rather offended by my "ingratitude". Because, they said, they have a lot of critically important jobs that us humans take for granted.

Like in this video: 17 very important cat jobs

Wow. I had no idea they worked so hard. They must be exhausted. It's no wonder they need so much sleep!

  2. They are beautiful cats :) Cute video; you are right, cats do have a lot of responsibility and jobs :) Wouldn't you just love one day to be able to sleep as soundly as they do for as long as they do?

    1. I certainly love them, Christine. I also love dogs but I am not willing to take on that kind of responsibility. At least not right now.

  9. At one point in our life we had 5 cats and 4 dogs. They were all the best of friends and almost all (but Puffers, the Queen) would go on long walks with us. Some of the cats on fence rails. We lived in the country and had dirt roads. I always assumed they didn't want to get their feet dirty.

The cats elected themselves to be the lizard and snake gifters. Almost every morning they would leave a dead reptile or mole under my bedroom window. They must have really loved me!

    1. HAHAHA! I laughed with the gifts from the cats. Yes, they must have REALLY loved you. Or they thought you were a lousy hunter :) Either way, you were a favourite human.

  10. Hey Martha and Mocha and Nacho,

Okay, maybe Mocha and Nacho are having yet another well earned nap and thus, haven't got time to read my comment. Indeed, the video proves, beyond any doubt, just how hard cats work.

Of course, Penny the Jack Russell dog might see cats from another um, pawspective!

    Take care, eh.

    Gary :)

    1. It seems they work every hard, Gary. Who knew? All I see is a couple of cats lying around all day snoring. Maybe they do the work at night while I'm sleeping!

And I'm sure Penny would see the cats from a totally different...pawspective (oh, I love that!)

I hope you are well, my friend. And I wish you a pawsitively (couldn't help it) awesome weekend.
