Question Of The Day

* Receiving a letter, card or package in the mail
* A quiet spot by the water
* Freshly washed sheets
* The sound of crickets at night (and cicadas during the day)
* A big bowl of watermelon chunks!

How about you?

  1. I traveled to Israel in the late 1980s and worked on watermelon fields during the summer. For a break, we'd crack the watermelon on rocks - it was delicious, especially the orange-ish ones.

  7. Hey Martha,

    Nice, thoughtful list of simple pleasures you have. Although, a friend of mine in New Zealand has told me the sound of cicadas drives her crazy! :)

    1: Listening to the rain on the roof
    2: Watching the dog play with her toys
    3: Being out in "klahanie" aka, "the great outdoors" and relating to nature's balance
    4: Visiting friends and family in British Columbia
    5: Commenting on your wonderful blog.

    Take it easy, eh!

    Gary :)
