Today in Ottawa, it's more like Monday... or maybe it's only me, spending all winter in warmer Florida, I'm not acclimate to this cold LOL
You forgot to pack the warm weather when you came back, Richard. What the heck were you thinking? Well, it is starting to warm up, so there's hope...
I love this! It is so true. But here's to the weekend!
Indeed, Christine. It's getting much nicer!
It's pretty damn nice here in Edmonton. Sorry!
It's about time Albertans have a spring, eh Debra! Enjoy!
We are usually hogging up the nice weather, so enjoy, Debra!
This is also spring in South Dakota. Saw a mix of rain and snow yesterday with highs today in the low 70s. Good one.
It's been pretty crazy in many places!
Same here...this isn't typical but this year we are up, down, and all around in temperature here in Kansas.
It seems many areas are experiencing this nuttiness!
That is how it was in Montana; ups and downs as much as 30 degrees some days! Hard to figure how to dress the kids for school :)Here it is a balmy (please don't be mad at me) 63 degrees right now with forecast to 82 degrees later in the day :)betty
I could never be made at you, Betty! I'm happy for you for having such wonderful weather. Pack some up and mail it to us!
Yup, our weather has been pretty bipolar lately too.
Let's hope it starts to settle down now that we're halfway through April!
In Central Alberta it's been warm and windy...very windy.
So difference across the country!
We have had a capricious spring here too. I think we've had colder and windier weather in April than we did in March!
I think we did, too! Let's see what May has in store for us...
It's been weird here in NC too.
But I imagine it's warmer since you're further south.
It keeps you on your toes - in different shoes (or barefooted) from moment to moment.
Hahaha...it does, Robyn!
Tina is right. Capricious is the only word for our spring this year, too.
Don't you just love that word? I've never used it. I'm going to have to find a way to incorporate it into some sentence at some point.
It's been a little wacky
Yes, it has. Wacky...good word for it.
From now on here the temps will be rising to 20C by Saturday and sunny all week no more cold and that includes the nights here to . Thank goodness spring is finally here for us will have to cut our lawn this weekend ! Thanks for sharing , have a good day !
It is definitely starting to warm up, so that's good news!
I love your weather mania - it's so similar to ours!Everyone keeps telling me to wear layers, which I guess makes sense. You can put them all on, take one or two off, put one back again ... ah yes and gloves and scarves may still be needed.Don't you just love the Spring - I feel quite sorry for the plants, trees and animals too!All the best Jan
I've been dressing in layers, too; it works great. When I'm outdoors, I can simply adjust to the weather by keeping on or removing a layer or two.
You're speaking our language here in the Maritimes, Martha.
I think we've been having very similar weather for quite some time, Jim!
Snow this past Monday (three days ago) and an expected high of 17 degrees this Saturday. Is it any wonder I have a cold??? (Yes, I know colds are caused by viruses, but I think this up and down messes with our immune systems). My crocuses are a sad, soggy mass of purple.-Jenn
Those first flowers have really taken a beating. I don't think my bulbs are going to put on a very good show this year!
It's like that here in Aus, it was warm today but will be rainy in the next few days then warm again.
All the way in Australia! Seems this wacky weather is something we share :)
Hahahah, ours has been snowstorms in April. No lie. The one day back home from Barnes was super bad. Welcome to winter, I mean spring. I mean ...
I know, right? It got really weird. But it seems to be over now. It's been really, REALLY nice out!
