Happy Monday, friends. How are you all doing? How was your weekend? Ours was very busy, which seems to be the theme for the entire month of May. But we did squeeze in some fun on Saturday evening. We spent it in the downtown area near the water. It was a glorious day; the weather was perfect! Yesterday I spent the entire day in the garden and when I finally came in it felt like my legs were made of rubber. But the plants are happy and the flower beds look great.
Today I've got a lineup of things that I need to tackle, so let's get to the humour...
Have a great day!
Love the letters!
ReplyDeleteGlad you did, Gail!
Deleteha! that last one is too funny
ReplyDeletelol
DeleteThe last one is a little frightening, too!
DeleteHi, shortybear. Nice to see you here!
DeleteHamsters, bears and kitties, oh my!
ReplyDeleteIt's a zoo, I tell you :)
DeleteToo cute with the cat and rubber band! Sounds like you had a good productive weekend!
ReplyDeleteBetty
It was very busy. But we got a lot done.
Deletewe had a senior really crash into a store the other day just like that! Thanks for today's laughs Martha! It's been so hot I don't seem to have much energy the past few days. I should remember that March ice storm!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's awful, Christine! I hope no one was hurt.
DeleteOh did I need these today!! Thanks Martha!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to be of service, Jim!
DeleteHello! Love these. And that rubber band. Oh my gosh. Too much.
ReplyDeleteNot so busy here now that 80 percent of my belongings are GONE!!!! Though, soon, I'll be starting on the next round of stuff that I want to get done.
We're almost there, Wonder Woman. A lot of stuff has disappeared. And plenty more ready to go. Such a liberating feeling!
DeleteI feel freedom. So far this week, I've made blankets and that's because I got rid of all my, just-in-case fabric. Now I can play with what I do have and enjoy.
DeleteBest thing in the world all that freedom. Almost there...
DeleteMy mind is blown, by how much freedom came with letting all of this stuff go!
DeleteI know that feeling! Don't you just love it? We had The Salvation Army pop by a couple of weeks ago to pick up a whole bunch of furniture. This Friday another place came by to pick up clothing and books and lamps and frames and a whole bunch of other stuff. When they drove away with all the stuff I'd bagged and boxed up to donate, I breathed a huge sigh of relief. Freedom!
Deletefunny ones
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked them, Adam!
DeleteI assume only Canada has those cute smurf fire-hydrants. Another reason to emigrate!
ReplyDeleteBe well, Martha. These were all very cute, except the last.
I've actually never seen one, Robyn. But I'll keep a lookout :)
Delete3 and 4 are my favourites ...
ReplyDeleteWhat surprised me was, I saw 'Chuckles and Chortles' and thought - no, it's not Monday surely!!!
These weeks come around so quickly.
Hope it will be a good one for you
All the best Jan
They do go by quickly! It's already June!
DeleteAnother delightful collection of funnies! Thanks Martha, have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you enjoyed. I hope you are having a wonderful week!
DeleteThanks for a Monday laugh. Loved "irritable vowel syndrome".
ReplyDeleteThat's a really funny one!
DeleteThe first one made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteHope your life slows down a bit soon. xo
It is much better now!
DeleteHey Martha!
ReplyDeleteHow's it goin', eh?
Gotta' love those cartoons. Although, I couldn't make out the last one. LOL
Happy gardening and enjoy the rest of your Monday, eh!
Gary :)
Gary, my friend, how you doing? I hope you're well. It's always nice to see you here!
DeleteI'm doing just fine, thank you. Getting a bit of my momentum back. It's always nice to be here. Have a peaceful day, Martha.
DeleteGary
That's great to hear! I hope we see you around the blog world more often. That would be wonderful.
DeleteGoldilocks? what a classic. We are on our second week of poor weather so the weekend wasn't nice. However, it was very nice Sat morning when I lead my 2 hour bird trip.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been fun! If I lived closer, I'd join your group.
DeleteSo happy that you have had time in your garden. We can't seem to catch a break on all the rain here but I did manage a couple of hours yesterday to work in the yard.
ReplyDeleteAs always, you joke are super funny. Poor kitty with the rubber band...ouch!
I'd be happy to take some of that rain off your hands! It's been a little too dry around here.
DeleteOh I loved the last one the best! Thanks for the laughs!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteLove the hamster wheel one! It was a beautiful weekend to be out in the garden. Glad you got lots done. Thanks for the laughs this morning. -Jenn
