...relaxed and happy. But that was quickly replaced by frustration. Because one of my cats had thrown up a few feet away from the bedroom door. So my day didn't begin with coffee, it began with cleaning up this little gift. Thankfully I didn't step on it! Things could always be worse, eh?
What about you?
been there, yuck.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely yuck!
DeleteGawd, I do NOT miss hairballs!
ReplyDeleteCertainly not on my top ten list of best things about having a cat :)
DeleteYep, good thing you didn't step in it, that would have been an icky way to start the day! I woke up feeling ready to conquer the day (I think :)
ReplyDeletehope the rest of the day is a good one!
betty
So did you conquer the day, Betty? I hope you did!
DeleteUGH! So glad you missed stepping in that. I cleaned up dog puke the other morning and it definitely is an unpleasant start to your day.
ReplyDeleteVery unpleasant!
DeleteAgree...never a fun way to start a day but cats are totally worth an occasional hairball mess. Poor babies just can't help it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Cheryl! A few little hairballs are not a big deal to be able to enjoy the company of cats.
DeleteI woke up today feeling refreshed and ready for another day in the life...
ReplyDeleteLovely and breezy here...no sun...gonna run a few errands...
Tomorrow is "date" day with Vivian...
Gotta stay focused....hahaha!
Enjoy your day MArtha!!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I bet those 'date' days with Vivian are lots of fun. And packed with great memories!
Deleteshort-lived 'relaxed and happy', been there!
ReplyDeleteHaven't we all?
DeleteOoh, that doesn't sound like fun. Our cat used to bring her mice and set them beside my bed...so I have awakened to step on a dead mouse before! This morning I woke up tired (at about 5:15), but then went on a 4-mile run/jog and felt a lot better!
ReplyDeleteAck! Waking up to a dead mouse...now THAT'S shocking. Glad you got a good run in. Exercising makes us feel great!
DeleteI woke up today feeling good. I feel good every morning until I have my breakfast and coffee then start heading out to work in next which lately I dread.
ReplyDeleteLisa
How come, Lisa? I hope you're not having too much trouble a work.
DeleteThe only thing I don't like about having a cat is the hairballs. I can deal with the litterbox but the hairball barfs are too much.
ReplyDeleteHairballs are not fun. But I'm not a fan of litterboxes either!
DeleteI always hate those surprises. Better than poop I guess
ReplyDeleteYes, MUCH better than poop!
DeleteBetter than a tropical storm, constant feeder bands of rain or possible flooding and at least yours threw up on the floor rather than the bed...Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYes! Compared to all those things, it's a picnic :)
DeleteAgree, not the best start to the day.
ReplyDeleteHope the following day was so much better ...
All the best Jan
It was, Jan! Nothing to clean up. Straight to coffee! :)
DeleteJust catching up and LOL! I can relate... just this morning woke up to Guy Noir crying and then that sound that cat owner know so well ... Not something you want to hear at 6 in the morning!
ReplyDeleteYes, we do know that sound very well!
DeleteOh yes! THOSE hairballs!! Sounds like they are dying!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Yes, it does, Jim!
DeleteYikes!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, YIKES!
