I love my adult coloring books, especially my swear word one. There's something so soothing about coloring the F bomb beautiful shades of pink ad purple.
I've been so curious about this! One of my friends has one and really enjoys it. I think I might have to get one too -- for the stress. I'd like to feel like a kid again too:) xoxo
Mu mum got into it late last year but then ended up sick and hasn't done much since. Her surgery was postponed until today so hopefully we are finally on the mend.
Mum's actually still in hospital, as I type this on the 15th june, so three weeks now. The surgery was delayed because she got sick and ended up in ICU but I'll do another post in a few weeks.
I am way overdue for this. I've been meaning to get into it for a long time and with all the craziness lately, I really needed a relaxing creative outlet!
I enjoy the adult coloring books too
ReplyDeleteThey are fun!
DeleteThese are so popular and there are so many different types.
ReplyDeleteFairy Garden
Enchanted Forest
Animals
Patterns
Owls
Everything Celestial ... etc... etc...
But I've not seen Cars or Space themes - yet !!!
I do think they are a wonderful idea, and very relaxing
All the best Jan
So many themes to choose from, Jan! I've picked up a whole bunch and I'll probably get a whole bunch more!

DeleteI keep thinking I will pick one up. I really enjoyed coloring as a kid and it seems like it would be relaxing.
ReplyDeleteYou should try it out, Cheryl! It's so cool.
DeleteKind of doing them; step grand daughter likes to color so when she is over, I'll color a picture of two with her :) You are right, it is relaxing!

Very relaxing, Betty. It's like being a kid again.
DeleteHey Martha,
ReplyDeleteWhat a colourful idea and no doubt, most therapeutic. A really good friend created a Mandala for me and it's hanging on my kitchen wall.
Take care, eh.
Gary :)
That's a nice friend! You should take a photo and share it with your blogging pals :)

ReplyDeleteEnjoy.
Any colouring book will do, Gail! I pick mine up on sale or at thrift shops. Because you are right...they are expensive!
DeleteI've got Enchanted Forest, but I was colouring before it became cool again!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fun theme!
DeleteI've taken a look at some, I don't think I have the patience for it.
ReplyDeleteNot for everyone! But fun for those who like them.

ReplyDeleteThat's it, Jim; so relaxing. And I think it's good for us to slow down and unwind.
