Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals. What have you been up to? How are you doing? Was the weekend nice to you? Ours was nice enough to encourage us to get out and about, particularly yesterday when we loaded ourselves and our bikes onto the ferry in the downtown area and headed to Wolfe Island, the largest of the Thousand Islands.

The ferry operates year round throughout the day, holds approximately 55 cars and 294 passengers per trip and is free. It's fun to take a ride over to explore the island and get a glimpse of Kingston while headed there. We did some cycling, worked up an appetite and headed back to our downtown area to have dinner on a patio. Because the weather was so spectacular. That was our day. What about you? How'd you spend your Sunday? I'd love to hear all about it.

While you think about that, I'll put together some funny stuff for you.

Have a good one!

  1. Thanks for starting my day with chuckles, Martha! Love the photo of you and George! It looks like you had a wonderful day for gadding about. Terry was playing in his first pickle ball tournament this weekend, so I was getting organized for upcoming trips. We did make it out for dinner at our favorite bar and grill on Friday and Sunday, and we continued to watch season two of "Outlander." Nothing earth-shattering. Just relaxing and fun. Have a happy week!

  3. Sounds like you're having fun. The weather where I am is too gross for fun - hot and humid. Those pics are great. I love the Jesus and Colonel one.

  9. Hey Martha, sounds like you had a really fun weekend! We had relatives in town so we went out for dinner then strolled through a gorgeous public garden, and then went home and the next day worked in our own garden to spiff it up a bit. Love your chuckles today, that popcorn is horrifying! Hahaha!
