Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, to all! How is everyone doing? And what's going on? I hope life is being good to you. We had a surprise visit from my older daughter and her boyfriend on Saturday. The two of them had taken a mini vacation to Niagara Falls and on their way home to Montreal, they stopped by to see us. I was so excited when she called to ask if they could drop by for a short visit. Thank goodness we were home when her call came in! We don't see them as often as we'd like to, so you can just imagine how exciting it was.

How was your weekend?

While you think about that, here's some funny stuff.

My fellow Canucks will understand this!

Have a good one!

  5. I still have never been to Niagara Falls. That is so great you were able to visit with your daughter. Once they are grown and gone they don't come back very often.

  7. Very funny choices. I am assuming the Toronto one is because of the high housing costs there?????

So happy for you to have had the chance to visit with your daughter.

    1. You got it, Cheryl. The Toronto market is erratic. Not sure how this will end but it's worrying.

  8. It says something about me being way too sensitive when I actually feel a little sad for the bears.

And yes, you never sleep with any part of your body over the edge of the bed.

    2. Would it surprise you to know that I felt the same way with the bears? It's illogical and somewhat ridiculous, I know. But there you have it! That's me...

    3. Oh, and the visit was wonderful because I don't see my older daughter as often as I see the younger one. And the younger one will eventually be like this as she becomes more and more independent. Bittersweet...
