Fill In The Blank

Blue. I love the colour blue. It's the colour of denim, as you all know; my favourite type of clothing.

When I was a child, the answer was purple. And when I was in high school the colour blue was still tops but black was a close second and at times it even surpassed blue, especially on days when I really wanted to demonstrate the angst and hormonal agony of the teenage years.

How about you?

  1. Purple!!! All tints and shades. I just realized the purple family was my favorite about ten years ago. I don't have much purple but it feels right. Before my color was blue.

  3. Blue. Even though my favorite color is purple, I like wearing blue more. Right now for work, I basically wear black, blue, and khaki.

  4. I guess since I wear jeans every day, I'd choose blue. But my favorite color is brown.

  7. I have to answer pink ... there is a lot of pink in my wardrobe.
Light shades, dark shades and those in-between!

    All the best Jan

  8. I would choose black. It is appropriate for weddings and funerals and "black tie" events.(Of which I have never attended>) It's slimming. Most everyone looks good in black. Black is my favorite color. I wear it all the time with my denim clothing...which I love, too.

Martha, you come-up with neat questions :)

  10. I really can't decide because I don't have a favourite colour. Well, I do but it changes depending on my mood. It is orange today. It isn't orange very often. Maybe because it is fall I am choosing orange.

Norbert said he wears the same thing every day and likes it. Gray stripes.

  11. Blue for sure! Right now I'm wearing all blue and black except for the patterning on my top which includes a little white and tan as well, but not much. It's a rare day I'm not wearing something blue.

    1. It does make you feel that way, doesn't it? It reminds me of water and that is always calming for me.

  13. That would be so difficult!!! I guess I would pick Navy blue. That way I could wear jeans alot of the time. Plus dress slacks and skirts look nice in Navy.

  15. I'm one of those males who can't fill in the blank. Color was not made an important issue in my life. But it's ok if you like blue!

    1. Not everyone has a colour preference. Sometimes we dress without really thinking about it.

  16. Blue is a soothing color. Most of my clothes are black. It makes life easy. Many decades ago when I was in high school, jeans and a work shirt were my uniform.

    Love,
    Janie

  17. This is actually a difficult question because it is the combination of colours that I like the best. I love green (spring green, olive, lime...) but black is a great, too. -Jenn

    1. That's a good choice. I'd settle for black if blue wasn't an option.

    2. I also like a light white gray (not sure the colour). So to wear forever, there's that too.

    3. Black, grey and blue. Story of the majority of my wardrobe life :) Although as I get older, I love brightly coloured t-shirts with my jeans. Sometimes.
