Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone, and happy October, too, since I haven't wished you that yet. It snuck up on us and here we are. October makes me think of pumpkins and Halloween and apples and Thanksgiving, which we celebrate next week here in Canada. The leaves change colour, the weather is just right and the aisles in stores are stocked with colourful candy and bite-sized chocolates. There is a certain joy to this month that you won't find any other time of year. I love it all. Except for the shortening of days. I don't love that. How about you? Do you like October?

Here's some funny stuff while you think about that...

Have a good one!

  4. October is my favorite month. I just love fall. And my hubby, who is a plastic surgeon, posted that same plastic surgery joke on his Facebook business page the other day. Great minds think alike!

    1. I bet your husband shares some really fun stuff on his page. The dental office I go to does that and you find some hilarious stuff on their page.

    I am one who loves shorter days and longer nights, so this is my favorite time of the year...autumn through winter :}

    1. It is fantastic when the air conditioner is not needed. Unfortunately for us, the heating will be necessary soon!

  7. Thanks for the laughs! We seem to have a lot of Dr appointments this time of year, almost time to get the snow tires on. But the past few days of October have been lovely so far.

    And the tv is now laden with slasher-ghost-thriller films, all geared up for Halloween.

  16. I love the colours of October. My husband and the kids love the whole Hallowe'en thing more than I do. He watches the old campy black and white horror movies. I enjoy the tiny chocolate bars. -Jenn

  17. Hilarious. October is time to get out of the house to walk with Franklin, my buddy. It's only seventy-nine degrees at 9:10 p.m. Our highs during the day are in the upper eighties. The humidity is lower. I can live again.

    Love,
    Janie
