Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone, and happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! How did the weekend go? We spent most of it traveling and visiting and traveling and visiting. Saturday we drove to Ottawa to spend some time with my younger daughter. She couldn't come home for the long weekend because of her work schedule, so went to her instead. We caught up on news, took her for dinner and had a wonderful time. Yesterday we drove to Montreal, visited with my mother-in-law, my mom, my brother and sister in-law, and met up with the my husband's sisters, their partners, his great nephew and his father at a Japanese restaurant to celebrate my father-in-law's 90th birthday.

It was a full weekend and we enjoyed seeing everyone. The traveling has left us exhausted, so today we're going to do a whole lot of nothing!

Now let's get to the funny stuff...

Have a good one!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you.

And Noah would have more trouble trying to find two of every (and knowing which is which) of the billions of different bugs and bug-like creatures.

  2. It was a busy weekend, Martha...and an enjoyable one. This doesn't mean that we won't get tired and need a good rest when it's over and done :)
We had our granddaughter's autumn/Halloween wedding this weekend, outside in the backyard, so I definitely understand :)
    Thanks for the smiles...always fun~

    1. It was jam packed. We came home exhausted after all that traveling. But we got to see loved ones that we don't see very often, so it was great.

  4. Now the last cartoon is a theme that could be used in many different situations. We had miserable weather with snow so stayed in and had a super meal...turkey and all the trimmings.

  5. You did have a busy weekend, but it's lovely that you got to visit with so many people. The cat "Clue" photo is hilarious.

    Love,

  12. It sounds like you had a busy, but nice Thanksgiving. All that travel does wear a person out, doesn't it? -Jenn

  13. When we can't push the garbage in the cupboard down any further, we just hang an extra plastic bag on the doorhandle and start again without taking the old one out!

    1. It was very nice! Not the traditional type because we ate foods that had nothing to do with the holiday, but we did see loved ones, which is always the best thing.
