Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals. How's it going? Anything new to share? I hope your weather is a lot nicer than ours because we have a lot of snow! One day we're wearing t-shirts and light jackets, and the next BOOM a few centimetres of snow comes down. It's a winter wonderland out there.

My younger daughter came to visit us on Saturday, which was a wonderful surprise. The most amazing man in the world and I took her out for lunch, and then she and I visited the bookstore to browse around, have a coffee at Starbucks and spend some mother-daughter time. It's always a joy to see her.

Shall we get to the funny stuff? Let's do it!

Have a good one!

  1. So neat you got to spend time with your daughter! Sounds like it was fun. Loved all the funnies this week! We got a lot of rain yesterday and over the course of the few days we went from using the air conditioner to running the heat.

    1. It's amazing how quickly the weather can turn! It looks like winter here and last week I was taking walks in spring-like temperatures.

  3. I think I always sucked at chess because of the knights. I know how to move them, just not in a logical way where it helps me

    1. It's a challenging game. I admire people that play it well but not something I could do!

It has been raining here. Record amounts of rain. We should get a few hours of sun today.

  12. Thanks for the laughs. I know exactly what happened after someone took that picture of the dog and the cat. The paw is swifter than the nose. -Jenn

    1. Yup, TOAD. Your car will be turned into a frog. I'd rather get a ticket :)

  17. My god, I had to actually stop and think how towed was actually spelt and almost didn't remember it. Isn't it funny how you forget basic words when you don't use them for ages.

    1. Yes, I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes I have to look up words if I haven't used them for awhile. I start to doubt myself!
