Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday! How are you all doing? Good, I hope. It's wonderfully sunny this morning as I get this post ready to upload. And as soon as I'm done, I'm going to get my second cup of coffee and something to eat. Do you eat breakfast? I have something small every morning. When I wake up I don't have much of an appetite, so there's no way I can handle a lot of food or food that is heavy. It would make me sick.

I was just thinking that if a movie was ever made of the story of my life, I'd want Morgan Freeman to narrate it. Doesn't he have the most incredible voice? I certainly think so. Who would be your choice?

Anyhow, let's get to the funny stuff.

Have a good one!

  1. Who could narrate my life story? Michael J Fox. Great pic of a needle in a haystack. :)

  3. You know, I keep trying to start arguments like that and nobody disagrees with me. I've picked my online friends and blog readers too well... (And I'm a little ball of rage lately and want to fight with someone.)

    1. There are a lot of blogs out there to pick fights on but that would raise your blood pressure, which isn't good for you health. It's just not worth it. Here's one way to release some anger:

  4. love the funnies today. Breakfast is always a fig bar from Costco - organic - three flavors, cinnamon fig, raspberry fig and blueberry. Then I have a diet supplement or meal drink "Equate" from Walmart - Chcolate Royale is the best but if they run out of those I'll choose Milk Chocolate. They run out of the royale first. I've been out of town and my mornings over the last 2 days of being home are slow and relaxing. Haven't even been on the net much.

  6. Yes, Morgan Freeman has the most wonderful voice doesn't he.

We always have a cooked breakfast in the morning e.g. egg and bacon, scrambled egg and mushrooms, a frittata or omelette ... so much good food to choose from!

I really like the needle in a haystack!

Enjoy these last few days of November

    All the best Jan

  8. LOL with the needle in the haystack! I do eat breakfast, something with protein in it, like eggs usually, helps me from getting hungry too early before lunch :)

I think I would like Sir Anthony Hopkins to narrate my life story :)

  11. I have a few different breakfasts that I like and a work day breakfast is different than a weekend. But it always begins with coffee! Weekday might be a smoothie, cereal, or oatmeal with fruit. Funny one about Black Friday. I agree. We'll see what happens with Cyber Monday, tonight. -Jenn

  14. Thanks for the smile.

I like Morgan's but also like Sam Elliott's voice. If either one wants to talk about me or to me, I will celebrate.

  15. I like the needle in the hay bale. Country Magazine has a competition every issue for readers to try to find the needles hidden in the magazine, so that photo reminded me of it.

Breakfast is a must for me, though I don't eat until about two hours after I wake up. What I eat varies: waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, oatmeal, and cereal are all on the table. And some fruit to go with it is a treat.

  16. Let's see, I think Dolly Parton would be my choice to narrate my life story but then, I would have to get someone English to narrate some of it...I think Emma Thompson, she and I share a birthday!

weekdays, I have 1 hardboiled egg, 1 oz. cheddar, and 1 oz. cashews for breakfast.

    Saturday is scrambled eggs.
