And we're back! I hope the weekend was good to all of you. You know what I woke up to this morning? Here's a hint: ♪♫ It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas" ♫♪
That's right...tons of snow! I did not see this coming. There was a little bit of snow in the forecast (about 1 centimetre/0.39 inch) but this is not a little bit. Imagine my surprise when I opened up the blinds and "HOLYMOLY that's a lot of snow". Ah well, maybe it'll get us into the Christmas spirit.
Now let's get to some humour. Holiday humour, of course...
Have a great day, everyone!
Good ones Martha! I shovelled the heavy wet snow this morning sheesh.
ReplyDeleteHeavy snow is not fun. It's quite exhausting!
DeleteLOL with Santa and his midlife crisis! Oh wow, how fun with the snow!! Stay safe and warm!
ReplyDeletebetty
I like having a white Christmas but after the holidays, I don't want to see snow!
DeleteI love the cartoons. How many inches of snow?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I really couldn't say. Maybe 4. Maybe 6. It was a little mild yesterday, so a lot of it melted.
Deletehahaha!!! thanks for the chuckles this morning!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteWe had a couple of inches of heavy stuff but it's all melted now.
ReplyDeleteWe got a little more than that. A lot of ours melted but there still is some on the ground.
DeleteThese are all good, but I liked the gingerbread men especially. LOL I am so envious of your snow! I would love some.
ReplyDeleteTell me where to send it and I'll ship some to you right away :)
DeleteDivorce lawyer Santa! lol
ReplyDeleteI know!
DeleteOh, you do make me smile. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome!
DeleteI love the Santa and the Jaguars ... and the look on Mrs. Claus' face ... and the red nose on Jag #1!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed, Jenny!
DeleteLet the Christmas ring on. Good stuff. We had snow but it's all gone already.
ReplyDeleteAlthough a lot of ours melted, there's still quite a bit on the ground. Looks like winter out there.
DeleteReal cold here yesterday and this morning is cold too, but nothing new.
DeletePretty much the same here. Last night the weather took a dive!
DeleteBut...today it's going to warm up again. Crazy stuff!
DeleteLove the Christmas funnies!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them, Linda!
DeleteSanta's midlife crisis, lol! We got snow here yesterday too. Today it's colder than hell frozen over.
ReplyDeleteYou are one hardy bunch out west!
DeletePerfect cartoons for the holiday cynic like me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha.
It's my pleasure, Robyn!
DeleteThis is the first time I've had to say, "I really like all of these!"
ReplyDeleteThat's a good thing!
DeleteGood ones Martha. I especially liked Santa'a midlife crisis.
ReplyDeleteSanta is just like the rest of us :)
Deleteall of them are cute and funny and like the one above me - i love the midlife crisis one, lol ...how much snow DID u get...just curious.
ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely sure because a lot of it melted. Maybe 4 - 6 inches?
DeleteGreat cartoons! We did only get 1 cm or so and it was melted by this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Thanks, Cat Lover! And thanks for stopping by. I'll have to pop over to your blog for a visit.
DeleteSnow! Okay then, I am ready for some of your pretty photos of snow! That is how I like my snow, in a picture! :-)
ReplyDeleteMe, too! I'd be okay with being somewhere warm for at least the months of January and February...and looking at snow in photos :)
DeleteThe gingerbread one reminds me of my brothers finding my dad's magazines. I thought they meant Gameboy at first. I was wrong lol. The newer generation got it lucky these days, we had to look around like rats for anything, they got the whole internet.
ReplyDeleteWe weren't 18 by the time we had the internet, but my brother printed something out and left it in the tray. He got caught obviously.
HAHAHA! That was a funny story, Adam :)
DeleteHa ha! Really like the midlife crisis one!! (especially Mrs. Claus at the door). Have a fantastic week, and yes, we got snow, too! (It does help put one into the Christmas spirit) -Jenn
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really feel like Christmas without snow. I like having it around during the holidays. Once the holidays are done, I'd like it gone! :)
DeleteLove your new Chistmas header!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Just a little festive touch.
DeleteHa! Love the first one about the sewing kits! My mom uses a cookie tin for her button collection. We always loved those Danish sugar cookies when we were little. And we used our tins for "treasure boxes."
ReplyDeleteEven after all these years, I love cookie tins. Some of them are so pretty. I'm not sure when or how my love for them began. I'd have to really think hard because it goes way back! :)
DeleteOh, those Danish sugar cookies. So yummy!
What a fab collection! Enjoy that snow... we have fog - it's not nearly so much fun.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Sarah! Fog makes for very cool photography :)
DeleteBrilliant collection - love the gingerbread one!
ReplyDeleteHope the snow may be gone soon ...
All the best Jan
A lot of it has melted, Jan. But I would like some to be around for Christmas!
DeleteSorry for those kids who saw Santa!! lol
ReplyDeleteI know, right? LOL
