Project 366: Week 48

I had a whole set of photos to share with you. And then I decided to do something totally different. Because that’s always more fun.

One of the most interesting things about photography is that you can snap an image and do pretty much anything you want with it. This includes changing it into something unusual or turning it into some abstract piece of art. The sky is the limit. Why buy art to hang on your wall when you can create your own?

So I played around with one image in my photo editor and came up with the results below.

What I've learned this week:
Don’t elevate yourself by being nasty to others.
It’s okay to feel angry, sad, hurt. Just don’t set up camp there.
It may be possible but not always easy. Some things require added effort. And determination.
Try new things. It’s a great way to get out of a rut.

Have a good one!

  7. I like the hot wax and the kaleidoscope best! Neat shot. I like how you used colored pencils to make art--without even coloring!

Good advice on trying new things. I just went to a gym for the first time in my life this week! Iowa winters aren't so great for running outside, so I think this might prove a pleasantly warm alternative. :D

  12. It's really amazing all the creative things we can now do to photos thanks to photo editing programs. I tend to get myself in a rut and don't explore all the features of the programs I have....good for you for taking that leap!
