Okay, maybe not this type.
Anyway, things are moving along. I have boxed up a lot of crap things this month and there are now empty rooms in our house, which is encouraging. There is a light at the end of this tunnel.
And at the end of this blah, blah, blah there is humour. Here it is:
Have a good one!
You know, I'd never heard of that side effect of Memory Foam, but come to think of it, it's only logical! Thanks for the smiles this morning Martha! Happy packing!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed them, Bethany! And I hope your week is a good one!
DeleteShe should use an oven like a normal person, geez
ReplyDeleteHAHA! I know, right?
DeleteThanks for the laughs haha, happy Monday! Moving is a great way to declutter isn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt sure is, Christine!
DeleteThe memory foam cartoon is the best one, but all funny! Tip for you, if you think you are going to rent short term if you don't find something to busy. If you have a spare one, don't unpack what you don't think you'll need for the time you'll be living there. We did that when we lived in Prescott. Didn't unpack a lot of stuff (like hubby's music books, kitchen stuff we rarely used). Made moving out of that house so much easier!
ReplyDeletebetty
That's exactly what we decided, Betty. That if we'd rent, we'd only open up the necessities. The rest would stay packed and ready to go!
DeleteLove 'em all, especially the last one!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the, Linda!
DeleteGreat post and funny :) I have often wondered why I cannot sleep at night ;}
ReplyDeleteMoving is exciting but also a lot of hard work...good luck in your new place~
It's a seesaw of emotions, Jan!
DeleteThanks for the Monday funnies.
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure!
DeleteStopped in to say howdy, hello!
DeleteHowdy, Wonder Woman! It's always nice to see you here. As you may have noticed, I'm falling a little behind on my blog. It's super busy these days. I hope all is well with you. I'll send you an email with some news as soon as I can!
DeleteI love the dueling Mr. Potato Heads! Still smiling...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the rest of your packing. This may sound odd, but I've always found packing strangely satisfying. Not so the unpacking, but hey, half the job is always fun :)
I have to admit that I don't mind it all that much. I also like that rooms are emptying out. That's a great feeling!
DeleteI love them all, Martha! I'm glad to hear that your packing is progressing. I've made so many trips to Goodwill getting rid of things. Living in a trailer the past couple of months has taught me a lot about how much we really need. I'll be attacking our home in Aurora with a new vengeance. Because a move in our future is becoming more likely. I want to live only with the things that truly bring me joy. Sending you a big hug!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way, Louise. I want to keep the things that make me happy. The rest I will offer to my girls and whatever they don't want will be donated. Hugs to you!
DeleteA potato duel to the end!! lol
ReplyDeleteSo silly!
DeleteOh, those Mr Potato Heads duelling with the veg peelers, LOL!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite! I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it!
DeleteThose are great. I guess I should be happy that I don't have a memory foam mattress. :)
ReplyDeleteYou can't trust them. They'll expose all your secrets :)
DeleteHa! I love the memory foam one! Hope you can keep your sense of humour as you continue packing. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteI hope so, Jenn! I'm certainly trying.
DeleteEverybody should have to move from time to time. I've lived in the same house since 1970. It's not good.I haven't had a good chance to throw things out.
ReplyDeleteMoving certainly does help to sort through things and clean out the home. Perhaps one day you'll start on it!
DeleteNo memory foam mattress for me!
ReplyDeleteWhatcha hiding, Toni? Secrets...
DeleteThank you for the laughs. Good luck on your move, and remember this too shall pass. You now know way more about packing tape than you ever wanted to know.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! Yes, I suppose I do :)
DeleteMemory foam???Still laughing...I cannot imagine you have all that much clutter, Martha. I use duct tape and packing tape all the time!
ReplyDeleteYou're right! We don't have a lot of clutter. But there are still things we could get rid of if we try hard!
DeleteLovely!!!! I needed a good laugh this morning.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked them!
DeleteMy favourite were the Potato Heads ... but a great selection for the week.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your continued packing and moving plans.
All the best Jan
I'm glad you enjoyed them, Jan. I hope your week is wonderful so far!
