You Had One Job

And failed...

The most amazing man in the world and I spotted this at the mall last week when we walked over to have a coffee.

I see a lot of photos of  "You had one job" screw ups on the internet but this is the first time I've ever seen one in person.

This is another reason why I never leave home without a camera!

  1. LOL :) At least it gave you and your hubby a good laugh and fodder for a blog post :)

  4. I agree, I always have my camera on me! I wonder how the person who installed that failed to see the problem!

  5. I have a chest of drawers that I bought from Sears probably 25 years ago. All the decorative handles on the drawers are upside down. But you know what's worse? It took me 15 years to notice! Sheesh.

  6. Haha, wow how did they fail to see that? Unless it was done on purpose?

    1. That crossed my mind. It's possible it was intentional!

  10. Always, always have a camera with you! My motto, for sure! I got quite a chuckle over this screw up! Happy Friday, Martha!

  11. HAHA. I wouldn't have believed it had you not said you saw this in person.
    How is this possible?

Be well, Martha. Keep your camera close. We reap the benefits.

  12. Maybe...just maybe, it was done on purpose! They want people to unplug and if you were plugged in you would have probably just walked right by this sign without noticing if it had been upright!!!
Or... someone was plugged in and not paying attention as they were putting up this sign :)

Keep that camera near Martha and we can solve other mysteries~

    1. Could be either way, Jan! It crossed my mind that it may be intentional. Or maybe not. But there's definitely a story behind this.

  13. I agree with Jan. It gets everyone's attention (well, almost everyone's) and therefore it works!

  14. I've got to get into the habit of taking my camera whenever I go out.

  15. This is funny but even funnier is that you never leave home without your camera - I so relate to that - i have millions of photos by now no doubt - and many of them so unique because I never leave home without the camera. I love your photo and by the way shouldn't you be home packing instead of shopping Missy.

  16. Goodness me!
Why did they leave it like this I wonder?

    All the best Jan

  17. I read that last line as "I never leave home without a caramel" and totally agreed in my head before realizing it didn't make much sense in the current context haha
