Question Of The Day
Animal rights activist.
How about you?
(Some of you have expressed concern about the discomfort of being famous; that there can be very negative aspects to it. I should have stated that you'd be known but in a positive way. No personal boundaries crossed. No harassments. No hassles from media or crazy people. That's not realistic or possible, you say? It is here. This is my blog and I can imagine it any way I want :)
A writer: on the Spiritual but yours a close second :) Atta Girl! ;)
ReplyDeleteBeing a writer would be fun!
DeleteKindness, compassion, and mercy :)
ReplyDeletegreat question!
betty
All great traits!
DeleteScrew all that, I wanna be famous for winning the biggest lottery in the world!
ReplyDeleteDebra lololool
DeleteHAHAHA! Oh, Debra :)
DeleteCheryl's comment below (in reference to yours) made me laugh, too :)
DeleteI wouldn't want to be famous. I'd love to be successful but not famous.
ReplyDeleteA good thing to be. Depending on what type of famous, it could be a huge disadvantage.
DeleteIs the fame uncomfortable fame where I cannot walk down the street or is it the kind of fame where when people want to bake a dairy-free, egg-free, shit-free muffin, they think of me?
ReplyDeleteI just made myself giggle and did one of those snort laughs.
No, not an uncomfortable fame. I should have been more specific. It will be a good type of fame. So yes, you can be famous for some really cool yummy food that everyone will love!
DeleteIf I can help people not be afraid in the kitchen, then I'm in. And if I can pay off all our bills, that would be alright as well. Count me in.
DeleteBoth great goals. Bills and chilling in the kitchen :) Good stuff!
Delete:-)
DeleteHumanitarian, except I don't want to be famous.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Okay, you won't be famous. Just great at being a humanitarian!
DeletePhotographer and blogger.
ReplyDeleteBoth good choices!
DeleteIn real life I'd hate to be famous - paparazzi going through your garbage and taking photos of you at the shops and all that. I think famous writer would be ok because most people wouldn't recognise your face. Unless you are JK Rowling. So writer.
ReplyDeleteBut in dreamland? Singer.
I'm so glad you mentioned dreamland, Natalie! That was my intention when I asked this question. That we'd pretend that there would be no hassles with being famous. A make believe kind of world. So yeah, a singer! That would be fun.
DeleteAn investigative reporter, because I found the story of the decade. Bet you know who that would be about!
ReplyDeleteI think I do!
DeleteI would like to be famous for inventing something useful.
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe I could just invent it and say my husband did it. Let all the people bother him and leave me alone! LOL.
HAHAHA! Kay, that is horrible! LOL...
Deleteit would be for like a cure for diabetes or maybe cancer?
ReplyDeleteThat would be amazing, Christine!
DeleteYou won't get me to bite on this one. I don't want to be famous. I will read all the comments.
ReplyDeleteWhatever is best for you!
DeleteCat rescuer :)
ReplyDeleteI think you're already headed that way :)
DeleteI think you actually know that Martha
ReplyDeleteCowboy Astronaut Firefighter.
I believe I just might, Adam :)
DeleteI think Joey has a good point. I wouldn't want to be famous. But I WOULD like to find the answer to world strife. If only people would listen to me!! Not reaching too high, am I? :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think so, Jenny! I think you have the right idea :)
DeleteFame scares me ,i am the one who wants to take a top of hill secretly and enjoy and love the view below calmly.
ReplyDeleteIt can be very scary!
DeleteWell, let's shoot for the moon here. Singer? Author? Changer of the education system? World's Best Cookies? -Jenn
ReplyDeleteYou go, Jenn! Yes, shoot for the moon!
DeleteI am too introverted to be famous for anything...
ReplyDeleteThe quiet life is great!
DeleteA dancer.
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun!
DeleteAt this rate, my books and my jewellery.
ReplyDeleteI hope you succeed in both!
DeleteThanks Martha. Back in the 80s I wanted to be Australia's answer to Debbie Gibson! I wanted to sing and that's why I wrote "songs" which I'm publishing through the year as books. Just another book series I'm releasing, lol.
DeleteI used to be a big Debbie Gibson fan. I still love her tune "Lost in your eyes". What a voice she has!
DeleteI would like to be famous for helping people realize their true potential, as well as helping them to find a true belief in themselves.
ReplyDeleteThat is good stuff, Lisa!
DeleteI'd have to say a writer. I like your answer!
ReplyDeleteBeing a writer would be fun! Once upon a time I wanted to do that. Until I realized I just don't have the discipline to sit down and write.
DeleteI'm not so sure I would want to be famous, but being able to help people is important.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It certainly is!
DeleteWhile I think Debra's answer of winning the largest lottery is a spectacular answer, I suppose it would be nicer to be known for something positive like saving the planet or curing an incurable disease. No...Debra's answer is the right answer.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAH! That is funny, Cheryl :)
Deletechanging the world for the better, in some manner. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is something to strive for!
DeleteAn environmentalist for saving our arid desert regions. They are going faster than ever!
ReplyDeleteActually "the cactus family is one of the top five most threatened groups of organisms on Earth" per information by the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. So sad!
DeleteI had no idea, Nancy! That is indeed very sad.
DeleteMost people don't know about this problem. That is why I try to mention it often!
DeleteThanks for sharing that. I really didn't know. What a save world it would be without these beautiful organisms.
Deleteprobably humanitarian helping people who just can't catch a break. the famous part I could without, unless it helps to raise money for the people we help
ReplyDeleteI agree. Being famous is great only if it helps your cause!
DeleteI wanted to be an astronaut when I was younger, but since I couldn't handle carnival rides other than the merry-go-round and small ferris wheel, I knew that wasn't a good choice. Now I'd settle with writer. But really, I like being anonymous.
ReplyDeleteBeing anonymous is the best. I like my life quiet and I prefer that no one knows who I am!
DeleteI would like to be known for owning the most sophisticated but easy to work camera while I become a top notch National Geographic photographer traveling the world with, of course, all expenses paid, and I combine that profession with one of professional food critic so all my meals are also paid and I can eat the finest of restaurants across the world but also those small little town dive bar and grills ...well truth be told -I would just love to eat and photograph my way across the globe. That would be a wonderful thing to be famous and known for....there - I've put it out there now the Universe must comply because there's so much emotion behind it and I am actually jumping up and down while writing it. And wow, there is a really long run on sentence in this paragraph.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I forgot to say, I would love to help the world and be a compassionate person and If I won the lottery I really would help all the people in the world, really, I would.
DeleteHAHAHA! That made me smile, Sandy. I hope the universe does comply and grant you those wishes! I would have loved to be a travel photographer. I can just imagine the joy a job like that would bring me!
DeleteSo you could be happy too being a traveling photographer - Probably 35% of the time I'm on the internet is spent doing googling street map traveling. I think if a place and I'm off to walk through the town or neighborhoods. I "screen capture" things I want to sketch and myf older of screen captures is huge and I never get any of them sketched but i do go back and enjoy the photos.
