Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, my friends. How are you all doing? Ready for a new week? Today's funny stuff is very late because we've been on and off the internet since Friday. Mostly off. I'd be able to get online for one hour or two and then POOF the connection would be broken for the next 12. This was not fun at all because not only would we lose the ability to use the internet but we'd also lose our telephone connection because our home phone is VOIP service. So no internet, no emails, no telephone.

We called twice from my cell phone to complain and were told someone would be out here Monday (today). Anywhere from 8 AM to 5 PM. Yeah. Companies still have you waiting around. All. Day. Long. Anyhow, here I am. And hopefully this is the end of the connection problems.

Now let's laugh a little...

Have a great week ahead!

  6. The internet has become a vital part of our lives. How does anyone live without it? I suppose it's a matter of you don't miss what you've never had.

    Love,

  10. LOL with colon and cologne :) I hope the internet problems have been solved! So frustrating, but seems to come with the fact of moving. Since my work depends on the internet, whenever we moved, that was the first thing I arranged to get set up and usually days before I went back to work (having taken off time to move) just in case there was a problem. Glad you did get to reconnect so we could enjoy these funnies!

    1. It was a little frustrating, Betty. I haven't been spending a lot of time on the internet these days because we're so busy with the house, but I'd like to be able to get on when I want!

  12. Well it seems fair they treat you as bad in Canada as they do in America when it comes to "service calls". There at 12pm? 6pm rolls by, hey its the cable man.

  20. Always funny!!! Internet problems are such an annoyance. We, too lose our TV, phone, and Internet when problems arise. Don't you feel cut off from the world when that happens. Here the cable companies have thankfully gone to 2 hour windows of service. If they are late, they credit money to the clients account.

    1. I do feel totally cut off, Cheryl. But this time I didn't mind as much. With all the house stuff we need to do, it was nice to be disconnected for a bit. Just for a bit, though :)
