Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday! How is everyone? What was your weekend like? I hope it was good to all of you. Yesterday was a glorious day. Lots of sunshine and very warm. I ran away again and met up with my older daughter in the small city of Vaudreuil-Dorion; a bedroom community of Greater Montreal with a population of about 38,000. It is about 40 minutes away from our home and about 20 minutes away from my daughter's. Vaudreuil is a really pretty area and my daughter and her boyfriend lived there for awhile. Anyhow, we had brunch, walked for hours in and out of shops and stopped for coffee in the afternoon before we headed home. It was so good to be able to do this with her and I'm reminded once again that this move was a great decision.

Now it's time for some funny stuff!

Have a good one!

    2. So good and today is day three that I woke up, no breathing issues. My mind is blown. And you're my last stop before I crank the music, put on my bandana and get to work. Or is it bandanna? I really don't know. Anyway, happy working/rest/play for you guys too.

Happy Happy New Home for you!

    3. I hope it was another great day for you. We spent out washing our bedroom to prepare it for painting. Tomorrow we take the day off and Saturday we'll start to paint. And we'll finish that room whenever we finish it. I'm done stressing about these things!

    4. I'm sorry that you've been stressing. Any reason why? Glad you're done.

    5. When we first got here, I was stressed from the other house and I guess it flowed over to this one. I seemed to be in a rush to get things done around here. But over time it got so much better. Now I just think we'll get done when we get done. And we're taking days off to enjoy life!

    6. You know what? That's really interesting. That you carried it over. Curious, when you realized that you were carrying it over, did you relax from there, as in did knowing why you were making yourself nuts, actually make you calm?

      Does that make sense?

I know for me, when I figure out whatever it is that is bothering me, recently my upper cupboards in my kitchen, then I can move forward. Wondering if you get that too?

    7. Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about. And I approve this message :)

I have very good insight into myself and I'm able to figure out why I feel the way I do and why I behave the way I do, etc. This is a tremendous help in managing things in my life. And, like you said, moving forward! So yes, it not only makes sense, it is the way I am.

    8. Hahaha, and I approve this message :-) Love it.

I am this way too. It helps me a great deal and saves time. I'm all for getting to the route of the issues. Let's deal with it so we can move the flip on. Yes!

    1. Yes, waiting for the bill is the same way! You'd think they want to get paid. Or at least to get their tip.

  14. Lovely that you got to spend some time with your daughter. Forty minutes isn't bad at all. It's what we drive (a little less, actually) to go see a movie, or to go shopping. -Jenn

    1. I don't think it's a long drive either. It's actually quite enjoyable because most of it is on the 401, a great highway to drive on!
