I left early in the morning yesterday and it was quiet on the highway. The ride in was great aside from the few miles/kilometres of dealing with one annoying driver who kept speeding up and slowing down and speeding up and slowing down. She'd pass me, get in front of me and then slow down. So I'd have to pass her to continue at the speed I was going. Then she'd pick up the speed, pass me again, drive in front for awhile and then slow down. And speed up. And pass. And slow down. You get the picture. There's a thing called 'cruise control'. If you set it, you'll be consistent with your speed and not be a nuisance. She obviously hadn't set hers. I'm not the only one on the road she did this to. There were others ahead and behind me that had to deal with her inconsistency. Occasionally I run across drivers like this. What can you do?
Let's get to some funny stuff.
Have a great day!
Once again, thank you for the laughs. You got me with Peep Show, but then I always loved a good pun.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteGreat you got to see your daughter. Thanks for the laughs love that peep show.
ReplyDeleteThat peep show is so hilarious!
DeleteIn middle school we were behind one lady who'd constantly slam on her brakes for no apparent reason. Both my mom and I flipped her off. Then my mother got mad at me for doing the same thing she did.
ReplyDeleteDo as I say, not as I do :) That's moms for you!
Deletehaha, very naughty peep show!
ReplyDeleteI know! So silly.
DeleteI am glad you got to spend quality time with your older daughter. Thanks for the chuckles, I like the peep show. Thank you for the kind words you left on my loss of Snowball. XO
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome. And again, I'm so sorry for your heartbreaking loss xo
DeleteToo cute with all the funnies this week! Glad you enjoyed the day with your daughter, but indeed what an annoying driver!! Unsafe one too!
ReplyDeletebetty
That's it, Betty. It was very unsafe the way she was driving. I hope she's not on the highway regularly.
DeleteI always look forward to your chuckles and chortles, Martha! The first and last are especially fun although in totally different ways :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad! Same place next week :)
DeleteI have an open-ended script for my Knowitall prescription. Isn't My Rare One a lucky girl?
ReplyDeleteHAHA! She sure is, Debra :)
DeleteHa ha I love the cooking one. Thanks for the funnies!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteNice that you saw your daughter even though you had to put up with a jerk driver. loved the cartoons today. U alwasy find good ones. I saw one recently I could so relate to - "I am not the kind of person you would want to put on speaker phone." There was no cartoon just words.
ReplyDeleteHAHA! That is funny!
DeleteHi Martha!!! So happy that you had a nice time with your daughter even though you had to put up with that aggravating driver!!!
ReplyDeleteAs always love the funnies!!! I loved the "my mom knows how to cook!"
Hugs
I always love spending time with my kids. I hope they feel the same about me...LOL :)
DeleteAnother nice way to start the week. Thanks, Martha! Ughhh, annoying drivers. You can almost understand people who have road rage. How nice that you got to spend such a nice day with your daughter. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteAnnoying and dangerous! This type of driver should not be on the highway at such high speeds. She'll cause an accident!
DeleteNow the peep show catches your attention!
ReplyDeleteI know! It's so silly.
DeletePeep show! Bwhahahhahahha!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
Don't you just love it. It's so ridiculously silly.
DeleteAnother highly entertaining mix. I want to show the first one to many (too many) people on a regular basis. Smiles.
ReplyDeleteHappy week, Martha.
Happy week to you, Robyn!
DeletePeep, peep! Have a good week, Martha!
ReplyDeleteAnd you!
DeleteYour C&C always make me laugh, Martha. I'm glad that you had a lovely time with your daughter! It's beautiful and springlike here in Colorado, too. We've had some snow and rain over the past three weeks that I have been home, so everything is green and growing. This is the longest stretch of time that I have been home in close to a year, and I am enjoying it very much. Wishing you a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Louise! I hope you're having a great week. I've been struggling to keep my blog going these days but I haven't missed a Monday yet!
DeleteYou're hanging in there, Martha! Sometimes I feel like I'm clinging to mine by my fingernails, but I haven't let go completely yet.
DeleteHAHA! Those are tough fingernails, Louise :)
DeleteLove the peep show! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's the favourite this week!
Deletesome funny stuff, there!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them!
DeleteWhat can we do is right? I dunno.
ReplyDeleteFunny comics. Love the Monday comics.

ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the Chuckles ...
Can you believe it's June, wishing you a happy month.
All the best Jan
Thanks, Jan! I hope you have a wonderful month ahead!
DeleteKnowitall prescriptions! HA! No one I know is out of that one, they must be double dosed!!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! This made me smile, Kay :)
DeleteI'm glad you got a chance to spend time with your daughter. I know exactly the kind of driving you described. It's like they are afraid someone will be ahead of them?
ReplyDeleteCould very well be, Tina. It's inconsiderate but also dangerous to drive like that.
