We are continuing to be busy around here. Today the most amazing man in the world is going to start laying down new flooring in the downstairs spare bedroom/art room. And I'll be painting quarter rounds to be installed later this week. Things are moving along nicely and we're excited that most of our indoor work is completed. Next spring, outdoor stuff...including lots of gardening! Can't wait. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Shall we get to the funny stuff? Here we go...
Wishing you all a great day ahead!
I'm lol'ing wildly here ... they are all so good and what a great way to start my day! Thanks for your continued diligence, Martha!
ReplyDeleteLol'ing wildly is the best kind of lol'ing! You give it your all :)
DeleteLOL with the scared cow!
ReplyDeletebetty
It's a good one!
DeleteMy favorite is we've got to figure out what's causing this. I've heard so many people say that as a joke when they experience an unplanned pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
HAHAHA! That is funny. You'd think we'd be more enlightened by now :)
DeleteHa, ha "scared cow!" Thanks for some Monday morning smiles.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteWe had a beautiful summer and it's definitely on it's way out. I'm sorry that yours was not much of a Summer at all. It's discouraging.
ReplyDeleteWell, here's to a glorified fall!
It is very discouraging. It makes winter seem much longer.
DeleteThanks for the great laughs!
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure!
DeleteLove the last one "alopeachia".

ReplyDeleteYou're think Tony the Tiger would have figured it out earlier :)
DeleteI am very much looking forward to the garden next spring! It's going to be a blank slate, which is certainly a lot of work but also fun. We'll be creating it the way we want it.
Laughing a bit at these today...still painting here...
ReplyDeleteI imagine you're as sick of the never-ending painting as we are!
DeleteThese are all GOLD, Martha! I laughed at each and every one!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed them, Debra. I hope to see you back in blogging land soon! We miss you.

DeleteOh Martha you and your most amazing man have done so well in your new home. So pleased to read that things are moving along nicely and that most of your indoor work is completed. Yahoo!
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of chuckles here - thank you.
All the best Jan
We are moving along at a good pace, Jan! Thank you for your positive thoughts. I can't wait until it's all over and we can finally settle in fully.
DeleteLOL! Great C&Cs! I had to google quarter rounds because I had no clue what they were. I bet your place will look wonderful. Glad to hear that you're getting some nice weather finally. It's lovely here in Victoria, although it's getting a little nippy! Have a great weekend, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThe place is like night and day, Louise. It was really dirty and worn down when we got it. We've breathed new life into the house and it looks so much nicer. We'll be happy when it's all done. Happy weekend to you!
DeleteYes....all good and funny! Had to THINK about the grocery cart one....it's me!lol
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Jim! Come back on Monday for more.
DeleteThanks for the laughs. Tony the Tiger and the Scared Cow were my favorites.
