My daughter sent me this photo of her cat, Obi:
Isn't this little bean head adorable? I want to reach into the image and plant a kiss on her fluffy head.
Speaking of my daughter, she's very grateful to everyone who has visited her blog and she's been visiting your blogs but having a hard time leaving comments on some of them, mostly the ones that are on blogger. It all depends on how you're set up and who you allow to comment. Anyhow, just thought I'd mention it.
Now shall we laugh? Let's do it...
Have a great day!
Low tech support! Emotional baggage! Hahahahahahahaha! Thanks for starting off my Monday with a good laugh!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a pleasure!
DeleteThanks for the laughs, love that one about keeping them in awe.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine such a thing happening? It would be hilarious.
DeleteIf we all come from dirt, why is there still dirt?
ReplyDeleteOne of the mysteries of life :)
DeleteHa! Lots of good ones today! Thanks for the weekly smile.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThat's a fine looking cat. And thanks for the humour to start off the week. Greetings!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, friend! I hope you've been having a great week.
DeleteEmotional baggage; guess I'll never fly again. LOL
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! Can you imagine how many people would never fly again?
DeleteMy weekend was . . . kind of odd. That's the way it is most of the time. Obi is super cute. My favorite is low-tech support.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Well, I hope it was a good kind of odd :)
DeleteObi is a sweetheart. Sometimes I want to steal her and bring her home. But...my daughter... :)
Such a cute cat! Loved the cartoon about the emotional baggage :)
ReplyDeletebetty
I'm glad you enjoyed, Betty!
DeleteThanks for the funnies! They really crack me up! If I were charged with emotional baggage, I'd be bankrupt lol...Obi is adorable. I don't have my blog set up to receive anonymous comments, I find it keeps the spammers away, but it does make it difficult for some people to comment.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that's a problem for her. She started with a regular Wordpress blog and then got a .com site. It's attached to her blog but seems to be causing her problems when she wants to comment. It's quite bizarre.
DeleteI love the Yahoo Answers conversation! Oh heck, they are all good :)
ReplyDeleteIs your daughter maybe leaving comments on moderated blogs like mine, where the comment isn't published until the owner approves it? I did get her comment and it's now published, in case I'm one of the guilty parties :D
Obi is sweet! And you are nearly finished with your house--that's wonderful.
No, that's not a problem. Ever since she changed to a .com site from her regular Wordpress blog, she's been having trouble leaving comments. It's really strange.
DeleteI remember seeing that one about the microwaved butterflies. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm always jealous of the progress you've made in your house when we've done so little and been here years! We did have a new garage roof 2 weeks ago!
We had the motivation because we just moved in. We didn't do much in our last home!
DeleteThe butterfly one, oh my gosh. Your daughter has your
ReplyDeletetalent for photos. I'm enjoying her on IG, as well.
Thanks for following her Instagram account. She's having a blast there. But aren't we all? haha 🎃
DeleteLow tech support, what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? LOL
DeleteHi Martha, I'm still refusing the pain killers. Cocodamol is so addictive. Or is that cocaine? You know, there's one thing I hate. It's when people say where they are going on holiday. I never go away. I stay here 24 hours a day and never moan about it. I even stay here on Christmas Day!. Ok,one of the carers stops with me, but what the heck? I honestly don't know who won the court case that decides what food I can eat. The carers don't know either. What I DO know is that I get a lot of pain in my legs. I like to intake of drugs to the minimum.
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't anyone telling you what happened with the court case? That's not good. You have a right to know!
DeleteAnd I don't blame you about the pain killers. They can be quite addictive. But is there something you can take that isn't addictive to help ease your pain?
Just what I needed to get this week started!
ReplyDeleteThat's great!
DeleteObi is adorable. I am enjoying your daughter's blog. I like the IKEA Humpty Dumpty cartoon. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope you've been enjoying a wonderful week.
DeleteWhat the -- she microwaves butterflies? I'm at a loss.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Martha.
I'm guessing that the image is a fake one! Just like some of the news :)
DeletePlease tell Alex I'm in love with her cat...Good luck with your front room!
ReplyDeleteI will! Obi is a real sweetie.
DeleteHi, Martha! It's been fun to catch up how your art and home are progressing and see the latest C&Cs. Microwaving butterflies??? I'm not surprised that the delivery company left the sofa on your doorstep. A big package takes up a lot of space and returning costs money. I'm glad everything turned out all right. Little Obsidian is so cute. I hope that you find more time to spend on your drawing which is coming along so well. Have a good one, my friend!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for the link to Alex's blog! Much appreciated. I so want to go to Portugal!
DeleteYou and me both, Louise! I've seen a lot of her photos from Portugal and it is such a beautiful place. I'm glad she and her boyfriend grabbed that opportunity and went. These are the types of experiences she'll always remember.
DeleteGEEZ! the planes would be EMPTY!! lololol
ReplyDeleteI know! LOL
Deleteso strange - i'm sure i commented - but then my internet connection is a little wonky lately so maybe it didn't publish. anyway, always enjoyed your Monday posts.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them, Sandy! That is really strange about your comment. I'll check my spam folder to make sure it didn't end up there.
DeleteObi is great!
ReplyDeleteYou've hit the jackpot with your selection of Chuckles this week ... thanks.
All the best Jan
I'm glad you enjoyed them, Jan. I hope your week was terrific!
DeleteHope your front room get painted soon and finally you unpack your stuff ,i can imagine for a house wife how important it is lol!
ReplyDeletei loved the blog of your daughter .She is really amazing in giving a virtual visit of portugal!
Obi's pic is lovely ,she seem to ponder upon world big problems.
Thank you for smiles my friend.
wishing you smiling life each moment, amen
Thank you, Baili, for your lovely comments! Obi is a sweet cat and she's a good companion for my daughter. And speaking of my daughter, I hope she gets to travel many times in her life. It is fun and it's a great educational experience. She will meet many people around the world and learn about different cultures. Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteI feel sorry for models in photos that get used in ways like that. People who know her will think she's weird.
ReplyDeleteGood point!
