Chuckles and Chortles

And here we are again. Happy Monday, everyone. How was your weekend? Ours was pretty quiet. I had the place to myself on Saturday and kept myself busy with some painting, cooking, baking and drawing. The most amazing man in the world spent the day visiting a friend in Quebec. They hung out and played some music together. On his way back he said he drove through a bit of a snowstorm on one of the smaller roads and had to slow down because he could barely see anything ahead or around him. Thankfully it was a short-lived experience and the rest of the way home was smooth sailing. There are no signs of snow here yet but it's just a matter of time.

Okay, enough blah, blah, blah. Let's get some humour going.

Have a good one!

thank god that your hubby got back safely .
here since few days due to fog minor accidents are reported in the city and interesting point is this that it is not fog ,according to news it is smoke that has crawled to our country from neighboring country where farmers has burnt the dried grass root in their numerous fields and smoke has risen from there .

Miss world 's answer is impressive lol

  16. Haha! "Carob bean" - I love it. Never thought of that playful wording. I also never thought about the rest of Mona Lisa, or how she got her name. Lots of fun food for thought here, Martha.
    Thank you, kind lady.

  17. Hi, Martha! It sounds like you had a relaxing weekend. I'm glad that George got back okay. I was up in Calgary for the weekend, and it was cold and snowy there. My sister Barb retired, and she had a great party attended by many people. It was so good to see some of my family, and see Barb off to her retirement home in Nova Scotia. I enjoyed your C&Cs, as always!

  18. Nice chuckles Martha! :) Is it Monday...oh wait, it's Wednesday...I had to look at my phone for the day lol...I lose track. Our snow melted and it's all rain these days. At night though, the grass is nice and crunchy. I look forward to snow this time of year, Christmas season and all that! I'm just knee deep in cookie recipes! :)

    1. That is fun about the cookie recipes! I've been swamped this week with getting our home settled. I've been opening box after box after box, putting things away and putting together items for donation. I can't wait till we're done so I can concentrate on cooking, baking, drawing, photography and getting ready for the holidays. Christmas is my favourite holiday and I'm super excited this year because we're close to everyone we love and care about.
