Happy Monday blogging pals. How was your weekend? Need any snow? Cold? We've got plenty of both. Just send me your address and I'd be happy to ship some of each out to you. What's your weather like these days? Ours is awful. And except for a quick walk over to a local coffee shop yesterday evening because you start to lose your mind being indoors for too long, we spent the weekend hiding in our home. Saturday we had a snowstorm and yesterday it was frostbite weather. Spring won't come too soon for me. What about you?
While you think about that, I'll share these funny images to make you smile.
Have a good one!
Thanks for the laughs, hunkering down like you inside. Spring, what a wonderful thought in mid January.
ReplyDeleteIt is, isn't it? Can't wait till we no longer need boots and scarves and gloves and coats and...
DeleteHe better hope he's George Carlin
ReplyDeleteHAHA! That's funny :)
DeleteHa ha, that last one! The only curmudgeons missing are Statler and Waldorf from The Muppet Show! Oh, and for Canadian viewers, Ed the Sock!
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Two great additions! My husband and I behave like Statler and Waldorf when we watch movies or TV shows we don't like. I love those two characters.
DeleteThe last one is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteBest one this week :)
DeleteWhoa! I'm a pooh slave?
ReplyDeleteIf ya stoop and scoop, well...
DeletePooh slave?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Linda:o)
ps...maybe it will warm up for our birthday!
Let's hope it does warm up by then, Linda. I'd be happy about that, too 😉
DeleteYou have my email address. I hope you don't email that crappy weather!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll need to. I'm sure you get your fair share every year!
DeleteYikes. Yeah, I shouldn't complain, but I'm too cold here. Plus, I have a cold. So it's hiding out for me too. Spring, wherefore art thou?
ReplyDeleteTake gentle care, Martha.
I'm used to these winters, Robyn, so I expect them and manage to get through them. But I don't have to like it! LOL
DeleteFine collection of cartoons. Thanks for the smiles and laughs. Especially liked the Flat Earth Society, and the sheep counting bureau.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed.
DeleteThese are great, especially the one at the comedy club :) Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed!
Delete-17 C here last night but we were able to get out
ReplyDeleteon Saturday and hit the restaurant store. I tell you
the truth: I've been indoor sick so long that I
flippin' loved being out, even though it was cold.
Happy New Week to you and your honey bunny.
That is great! Very cool. I bet it was fun. Did you get anything? You probably did. I'll check all your accounts for your latest news! We've been taking walks over to the coffee shop in the evening so we don't go batshit crazy being indoors. For a few days it was horrible and driving somewhere was out of the question. It should get better now.
DeleteWhen it gets bad, we can drive either.
DeleteEven though they do roads, ice wins.
I got a waffle/cookie maker and
a couple new cookie cutters.
I've been making bread and crackers
in the maker and round waffles.
So much fun.
Cool beans about all the new kitchen gadgets. That is a lot of fun. Today we are staying home. Lots of snow coming down!
DeleteI love the first and last ones especially! And I didn't really realize how many angry characters there are in popular culture! (and most of them are within children's orbits - eek)
ReplyDeleteI find in winter that the more I get out, the less I mind it. When I've had to stay in (sick, snowstorm, or whatever) I hate the thought of going out eventually. But once I do, it doesn't seem so bad. Maybe that's just my impressionable mind - haha!
Now that you mention it, I hadn't realized how many angry characters are out there in pop culture! What does that say about us? LOL
DeleteI don't mind winter when it's not deep freeze weather. But those days where you can't stay outside for more than a few minutes...bleh...I could do without them! Winter is a pretty season but much too long for my liking.
LOL, the poo slave...gotta love feline humor!
ReplyDeleteNothing like cattitude :)
DeleteHa ha ha ha...the laugh club is great! :) Very funny. Oh gosh Martha, I don't want any more snow or cold. We got 2 feet of snow over the weekend, no joke. I pulled out the old measuring stick. We had a rough time shoveling because it was heavy. And those darn plows seem to just love to re-pile it back onto the driveway, ugh! Dreaming of a snow blower in my future lol! :)
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how much snow you have up north! You definitely need a snow blower and I hope you get one at some point. It has been bad enough with the snow but the cold has been tough to deal with, too. We had a day of really warm temperatures with rain and then the next day freezing temperatures. You know how that turns out...an ice rink! Can't wait till spring!
DeleteThey're all funny but I absolutely love the last one!
ReplyDeleteBest one this week, for sure!
DeleteMany thanks for the laughs ...
ReplyDeleteBrrr roll on Spring!
All the best Jan
Always a pleasure!
Deletehahaha the last one is hilarious!
ReplyDeletethank you for last one specially
i am sorry that weather is ahard at your side dear Martha!
still hopping for the warmer day with glowing sun so you can take long walk with your hubby
I'm glad you got a laugh out of it, Baili! Being in Canada, we expect this type of winter weather. But it will pass and spring will come along!
DeleteYour Chuckles and Chortles always make me smile, Martha! Thank you for brightening my day!
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome!
